How do you feel now?
Like I need to go back to college and get my English degree. XD

Or Literature. Or English with a focus on Literature, followed by courses in Post-Secondary Education. You know. So I can get my teaching license. ;)

You were telling him about Buddha, you were telling him about Mohammed in the same breath. You never mentioned one time the Man who came and died a criminal’s death...

You wanna be a teacher? Cool!

Say, if I had a $50 gift certificate for Amazon.com (okay, I do) and I wanted to buy a game (or games, as it may happen), what should be my prime choices?

Yep. I actually want to be a college professor, believe it or not. In addition to my far loftier goal of wanting to write for a living.

What kind of games are you into, what system do you want to get the game(s) for, and what is the limit on spending?

Uh... actually, Tony Hawk's Proving Ground.

My friend called me up yesterday and asked if I wanted it for $3. I said yes.

The good news? It still feels like Tony Hawk. I can pick it up and still have the muscle memory from years ago (even if I'm not as good as I was, and I was good). The bad news? Hawk went seriously downhill after THPS4. This game is no different.

They've done some things I've agreed with, some things I haven't agreed with.

Well, Drew, as for spending limit, probably no more than my $50 gift certificate. (Though, if it is $60 I may do that too)

Could be multiple games too.

And I have a 360 and PC, (and DS) and would probably prefer to get it for PC. But if the game is an XBOX 360 exclusive, then I could do that too.

I like all games and genres really. My favorites are FPS, RPG, RTS, and well... everything!! XD

So, what would you suggest?

Would you listen to a blatantly conservative band, as long as they had good music?
Government is another way of saying "better than you."

Um. XD

Thing is, it's the middle of summer. Not a lot of good games have come out recently. However... I'll throw some stuff out there for ya.

The new Wolfenstein is coming out. I haven't heard anything (as of yet), but it looks pretty promising. And, on PC at least, it's $49.99.

You might want to check out Batman: Arkham Asylum.

Tom Clancy's EndWar is really solid, though if you're used to PC RTS games, you might not like the more stripped down approach the developers took. Fight Night Round 4 is a pretty intense game, but it's also boxing. Not sure if you like games like that or not.

You could always wait until next month or the month after, when games like The Beatles Rock Band, Brutal Legend and others hit. November is going to have Dragon Age: Origins, which looks absolutely amazing. Next month, there's a third person shooter called WET coming out that looks really cool. Then again, it might be terrible. I don't know. You've also got Halo: ODST coming out in mid-September.

And hey, if you're more into older stuff, give Armed and Dangerous a try. Xbox and PC only. It's really funny. ;)

Always what you meant,
never what you said,
passing over me,
like a book you've read.
But I let it fall,
bowing every wish,
take my hand tonight,
but I beg you this,
offer me one kiss.

I don't want a kiss. -_- I just think it fits here.

I think you'd be a good teacher. Meticulous, yet still kind.

Do you smell of oranges and musty books?

Thank you, Chozon. That's one of the nicest things that anyone's said to me in some time. :)

I hope I don't smell like that. XD I hope I don't smell at all, in fact.

I meant it. :D My grammar isn't ever going to win an award, but it's far better now than when I joined.

If you had to smell of one thing, what would it be?
