What do you do on your first Minecraft day in a new world?

Break wood, craft a crafting table and make a pickaxe (maybe axe too). Then I mine some stone to make a stone pickaxe, axe, and sword. Then I chop some more trees. Then I start my house (which is actually a decent size) which may take a short or long amount of time to finish. That's about it for 1st day. I might try to fight a couple hostile mobs.

Second day?

fishing (if I have enough string) for food. If I don't have enough string I will start a garden. I might start a mine as well.

What time do you go caving?

As in...ingame time?

Ok. What day do you get your first diamonds?

Well as of recently (past year) I have for some reason been finding diamonds EXTREMELY quickly (at least when speed mining, when I find diamonds normally within 0-5 mins). Even once or twice I have found diamonds while building the beacon. So probably between days 5-10 I find my 1st diamonds. One time on pocket edition I found diamonds on like the 2nd-4th day. I haven't even found iron yet so I couldn't mine them.

LOL. The fastest I have seen it by anyone is at the evening of the first night. PaulSoaresJr. found 1 diamond in a jungle temple while the sun was setting.

How about ore wise?

I don't really watch for that kinda of stuff. Many players get coal in the first few minutes, Sometimes iron on the first night.
