You place the armor on. You notice the details and your head begins to swim back to that day before the court.....the judge. The trim, the helmet. This was the armor of a ranking official. Who was that vampire again? Gultiare....your head hurts as you remember the man who swung the gavel casting you form your people.....Gultiare. This was his armor. The very armor he wore on that fated day.

((The armor is a +2 breast plate. The helmet is a +1 full helm))

Rhel chants to himself. Power and light flow from his mind and before you a massive glass looking construct that looks like a statue of sorts, appear. A light glows from his mind and it appears that all of Rhel's focus in on the creature.

You look up to see that the three are no longer standing in front of the door. The massive warrior from the left is charging forward, the blindfolded man seems to be running up the lizard creature and the woman just teleported to a safe distance away form you.

Spoiler:
Kratimos laughed to himself as he stretched himself out in the new armor. Gultiare must be going mad in whatever plane he was banished to. Kratimos thought to himself, barely whispering
Bet you never thought a wolf will be wearing your armor! Kratimos' grin widened under the deathly mask of the helmet, I'll bring back the honor this armor deserves, you degenerate parasite.

((Wow, awesome! Thanks!
So I got this right, that's a total of 8 AC? 5+2 from breastplate and +1 from helm?))

((So I forgot that helmets don't really add armor so yea, lets consider that when you are wearing the helmet, you get an additional +1 to your armor. This would bring your AC to 18 plus your Dex bonus (Are the stats outlined on your character sheet your modified or unmodified form? I think that maybe you should create a second character sheet for your hybrid form. What do you think?).))

Spoiler:
Trip's eyes focus on the lute. He lifts it and examines it closely, admiring the crafter's work. "This is a nice instrument," he says. "Is there a story behind it? Or the person who last used it?" He sets it back down on the ground carefully, trying not to damage the delicate instrument.

Looking at the wands, he hesitates for only a second before pulling the handle beneath the sign that reads "healing winds."

Spoiler:
"Lycan," Volstaid throws a sheathed longsword to Kratimos. He unravels the belt wrapped around and fastens it to his waist.

((+1 longsword))

Kratimos spots the final touch to his wardribe. Against the wall a beautiful sturdy shield. The shield is of solid craftsmanship, on the face, there is a carving of a powerful arm holding a hammer. Runes circle the rim around the carving.

((Heavy steel shield +1, grants wielder immunity to charge attacks))

"I see you found Valfrost's Bulwark. A powerful ally in combat."

He looks to Trip examining the wand.

"Healing winds. It will mend your wounds. Take the lute, it fares better in the hands of one who can put it to good use."

((The wand is a wand of cure moderate wounds, 5 charges. Treat the lute the same as a horn of goodness/evil))

"Also these may come in handy." Volstaid hands Trip a silver mace and a beautiful chain shirt.

((Mithral chain shirt and an alchemical silver mace. Inside the mace is hollow allowing a vial of holy water to be inserted for extra damage against the undead)).

The party prepares themselves then they make their way back to the main hall. They pass through the room filled with diviners into an off shoot to the right of the entrance. Inside the pair sees 10 heavily armored Hestic warriors. Some 5 Hestic are lightly armored with armor that seems to blend into the area around them. The 10 are coated head to toe in bulky heavy armor. Not a piece of flesh is exposed. All warriors seem well equipped and ready for the battle ahead. Volstaid is greeted by a young Hestic who begins placing heavy pieces of armor onto his body, tying each as he goes.

Volstaid's armor is gold in color and covered with powerful runes that glow. He has at his side the two swords as before but also grabs a massive two handed mace. The squire places a heavy helmet upon his head.

As soon as Volstaid buckles the helmet down another man enters the room clothed in holy adornment and begins to chant over the party. The warriors kneel in reverence. The blessing is in the Hestic tongue.

((Receive the effects of the spell bless until I designate when it ends)).

Two robed Hestic enter, walking to the back of the room. on the floor is a circle of glyphs where the two stand opposite each other. They begin to chant and reality itself seems to split open. The lightly armored warriors rush forward, jumping into the void. The Volstaid raises his mace to his helmet and marches in with his party following.

Crimson
Spoiler:
Crimson hears a sound emanating from the shadows of the hallway. Fading into the shallow light a massive form approaches. It's eyes glowing with a deep fire, it's form filling most of the hall. A scratching, carving sound is heard as it drags something against the wood of the floor. It's features come into focus and the creature is mostly bone with strange bits of sinew binging it together. Against it's torso is draped a ragged funeral covering and a massive bladed weapon pulls behind it.

It's eyes lock onto crimson. If the creature had any muscles on it's face, it would have formed a wicked smile.

Spoiler:
Guy charges forward, roar flowing from his lungs as he launches his mass forward. His mace ablaze, swinging wildly to get the attention of the massive lizard beast. Its focus locks onto the morsel and it rears back, taking in air. It rushes forward, fire flowing through its neck and as it crests its maw the lizard is greeted with a crystalline fist as the massive psychic emanation rumbles into battle.

Guy still presses on, dodging the feet of the giants as they battle. Suddenly, he feels himself slowing. Looking to his feet, a black, tar substance gathers around him.

Trip takes the gifts and thanks Volstaid graciously. He takes his studded armor off and slips on the mithral shirt, admiring the craftsmanship.

He watches as the other, unusual elves make their preparations. As they prepare, He raises his violin and performs a rousing song to inspire courage and good fortune in their endeavors.

((He is using the bardic ability to Inspire Courage. If possible, could it be timed so that it will go into effect as soon as the first soldiers pass through the portal? :) ))
