You were telling him about Buddha, you were telling him about Mohammed in the same breath. You never mentioned one time the Man who came and died a criminal’s death...

What is progressive metal?
Actually, I get rather brained by all the types of metal. What bands do you listen to?

Progressive metal? It's metal... that is really, really complex and strange. XD Basically, think prog rock mixed with heavy metal. In other words, Rush mixed with Metallica.Chozon1 wrote:What is progressive metal?

And what bands do I listen to... in what genre? Or across all of them?

I'm not a huge fan of Christian music, Garth. I mean, I've just not found a lot that is innovative in that particular genre... and that's really what I love. Bands that play music unique to their sound. Most Christian music sounds like something else. As for Mr. Mullins, I have no idea what he played, but I can tell you that, even if he was considered good, I most likely would not like him very much.

And Christian music is awesome. I agree that a lot sounds the same, but you just aren't listening to the right bands...
Skillet? (The band)

I really don't like Skillet.
Here's the thing with me... my musical taste is wide enough that I know whether a Christian band has a similar sound to a secular one. That's why bands like Thrice, Jars of Clay, Underoath, Demon Hunter and mewithoutYou always get more credit from me than a Superchic[k] or 4Him. I also really believe that Christian music strives too much for pop.

Did you know it's actually spelled "Theater" and not "Theatre?"
Because the latter is a fail spelling. XD

Did you know that the root word is French, and because of that, the actual British and French spelling is "theatre," and not the Americanized "theater"?Deepfreeze32 wrote:Did you know it's actually spelled "Theater" and not "Theatre?"

Yes, but I'm big on spelling things the way they're meant to be spelled. And also, "theatre" is an acceptable alternative, so you and your bad spelling can go suck a duck.Deepfreeze32 wrote:Drewsov wrote:Did you know that the root word is French, and because of that, the actual British and French spelling is "theatre," and not the Americanized "theater"?Deepfreeze32 wrote:Did you know it's actually spelled "Theater" and not "Theatre?"

The proper name is "Dream Theater" not "Dream Theatre"
