Probably gravel, you can't build with it and the only good thing about gravel is that you can get flint. I guess you could make roads with it as well.

How much do you like gold on a scale of 1-10?

5, tools, weapons, and armor, are terrible, but you can trade gold for emeralds so that's nice. You can also craft golden apples which are essential for curing zombie villagers. Powered rails are also useful and require gold to craft. Besides these things I've listed gold is pretty useless. Multiplayer allows a little more use of gold by paying for stuff in shops and such.

Iron on a scale of 1-10?

10, it's like very common but VERY USEFUL! It can be used to craft the 2nd best tools and armor. Plus it's the cheapest items to use for beacons and also used to craft shears, buckets, tripwire hooks, and much more! Plus you can even trade some to villagers for emeralds!

Favorite type of wood in Minecraft?

Same as my favorite block, jungle.

2, all they're really used is for building.

Coal on a scale of 1-10?

9, my only complaint is that it could use a few more uses besides fuel and a couple crafting recipes. I do appreciate that you can trade coal in to villagers for emeralds.

Diamonds on a scale of 1-100?

1, absolutely terrible

Just kidding, 100 of course! Who wouldn't want the best tools and armor in minecraft?!
