Best post ever. You made me choke.

After slaying him, you remove his fancy jacket and take it back to the town. They give you a loaf of bread, and the chiefs daughter. Declining on the girl, you ask for the goat instead. Though offending the girl, the chief happily gives you your goat. You leave Town by the South gate this time, to head past the flower shrine and down the road. You soon reach a bog of sorts, and notice the mud is alive. You throw the bread (it was pumpernickel anyway) into the water, and thousands of sharp toothed eels devour it. It seems as though your goat could find a way through the swamp.

My goat's name is Pickles... and I don't attempt it. Pickles and me... we're bestest friends.

You turn around to leave, but notice that a path branches off behind you. You follow it, and find a dock and a boat. Paying the ferryman 300 coins, he brings you across the treacherous swamp with Pickles. As you leave the boat, an eel bites you in the foot. The Ferryman tells you it's poisonous, and you will turn into an Eelman if you don't get it cured. Sadly, he has no cure. Jumping on Pickles, you ride toward the road, only to find a split path with three ways. One way leads towards a forest, the other, another swamp (Or is it a branch of the same one?) and the third into what looks like a desert.

Where do you go?

The forest.

Your starting to feel woozy by the time you reach the forest. In your half blind state, you see a small hut by the side of the road. You fall of Pickles and manage to slam your hand weakly into the door. The last thing you see as your vision fades is a kindly old man frowning down at you.
You wake up to the face, now smiling. "Good. I was afraid you weren't going to make it. You need to be pretty strong to survive and Eel bite" He explains that he cured you, but the a strange look on his face causes you to question him. He explains that, while your not an eelman, you were...changed by the the venom. You look at your hands, and notice a greenish black tint, and you realize you have a tail like an Eel. "I wouldn't be surprised if you could breathe underwater now either."

Paying the hermit 200 gold, you go:

Deeper into the forest.
Back to the road and along the desert.
To the swamp to test out your new powers.

Saying I've lost it is implying I ever had it.

You ride Pickles towards the swamp, dismounting when you reach it. You spy a dead fish on the shore, and kick it into the water. The eels swarm it for a moment, then descend beneath the murky water. Shuddering, you place a foot slowly in the water, then feel something brush it. But no teeth. You take a breath, to steady yourself, not because you need it, and dive beneath the water. The eels rush at you, but stop and simply watch with their gleaming eyes. You inhale, and choke as mud rushes down your throat. Making a note to keep your teeth shut, you dive deeper, the eels following on your heels (:D). Something big stirs the water in front of you, but as the muck is stirred, you see something gleaming down deep.

Go towards that gleaming something.

You swim toward the bottom, close to the mud as you can get. Your not quite sure what you saw, but you're not taking chances. You reach the gleaming object, and notice more laying around the small depression your in. You grab the closest one and turn it over.
You're staring into the empty sockets and macabre grin of a skull. You drop it and turn to swim toward the surface, but the last thing you see is a set of giant teeth closing over you with a crunch.

Making it up. I read a lot of fantasy crud. What goes in, must come out. Except for the "teeth closing over you with a crunch" which comes from strong imagery from Half Life. O_O
