So, if it was the above plan, or buying an Anschutz competition grade .22, which would you choose?

I've heard great things about the Anschutz... supposed to be high quality in all respects. Depends on how much money you have, I guess. And whether or not you want a really great gun, or a really good gun (the 60, also easier to use for a beater if needed... due to the price :p) and current gen gaming. Don't know which is more important to you. XD

Yeah, beat 1&2. As I said in the gaming thread, if you keep your profile around for ME2... all the choices you made come into play greatly in the story of ME2. It's really awesome. o.O

Hmm... not had much experience with the 7mm-08, but I do like the .243 fairly. It's a good "smaller" cartridge, I think.

It'd be a Tikka T3, as will any almost any centerfire I get.

I did find out I'm making about $600 more than I expected though, so now I have money for expensive ammo <_<

Also, apparently my "sponsor" at the range (ie, the guy who's getting me a free range pass), is a champion trap shooter. What do you think about investing in a decent trap gun? Might pay itself off if I get good, but it's an expensive hobby.

I've... never shot a Tikka. :\
