My wife doesn't like them. But spiders are pretty incredible creatures. Their intricate web spinning and tenacity to survive is remarkable!

Leezards. Actually, I find most reptiles pretty cool.

Cats are pretty cool, too. So are raccoons. And octopi!

There are a lot of cool animals out there. :)

I've got one spinning over my head right now, actually. It tends to attract dust.

Incidentally, don't try to dust a ceiling fan while it's still moving. Took me three times to figure that one out....

And no, absolutely not. Do NOT try to dust a ceiling fan with grapes. I learned that on the first try, at least.... Good thing we had planned on painting the walls purple, anyway.

Apples are tasty. But some are definitely better than others. Like Pink Ladies, Galas and Fujis. I want to plant more apple trees on our property.

And, of course, Apple makes the best computers, too.

Lol.

I like the stiff red apples. I don't like them with "dents" in them. :D

Sounds to me like a Red Delicious. That tends to be a popular apple because it freezes well (and thus, transports well) and has that classic "apple" shape and color.

Unfortunately, too long in cold storage and it tends to develop a "grainy" texture. I also find them a bit bland, and prefer apples with a bolder flavor.

(I grew up on the outskirts of Greenbluff, a region north of Spokane, Washington, known for its huge variety of "pick your own" orchards. So I've grown up around apples and have picked up a thing or two. ;) )

While we're on the fruit topic, how about pairs?

Pairs of what? :P

If you mean pears, they're OK. My favorites are home-canned pears, though. Apparently the trees around my parents' house blew up this year - my mom canned approximately 75 quarts of pears!

Could be a sign that we'll be in for a long, cold winter this year....
