You won't be disappointed, I don't think.
And... the channel? Don't really watch it.
Then again, for how much I watch stuff (read: not a lot), I could be getting it mixed up with something else.

Oh. I knew that. <_<
And... as in moving? Not fun. But just going away for a while? Not a problem, as I bring next to nothing generally. XD

Because I came on the IRC... and nobody was there. o.o
But I have a feeling this is fixed now. <_<

Any good hiking around there?

Yep, for sure. Not really mountain hiking or anything. MI really doesn't have much at all in that area (at least around here, around the center), but there are a ton of forests and land in general to go exploring on. We own 20 acres, which ain't much honestly... but we're surrounded by tons of other land (I think it's in the 100s of acres) that we can go on.

Sometimes words aren't enough, so you have to replace it with a wordless grunt?

Hmm, not really. Well sorta.
Our entire family camped in a tent and then a 200 sqft shed for two years (remember, that was 7 people with an 8th born during that period). Dug a well... installed a small hand pump. We were at times storing food in the snow (only in winter, obviously) and bathing in a... well, we won't go there. <_<
Kinda survival. XD
And as a side note, nobody got sick for those couple years either.
