It tastes very fruitish. I'd recommend.
Sandy lakes or rocky ones?

lol, I believe it. :p
I'm not much a water guy in terms of swimming. Like... I don't do it. So boring to me. Boating? Sure. Swamp wading searching for herps and stuff? I'm there. Just not into sitting around in water.
So... sandy or rocky never really matters. XD
Though for swimmers I bet sandy is best.

What about swimming in an eel tank?
Likely, that wouldn't be boring. XD

Depends on the rifle, to me. Like my lever, I tried a scope on it and it just... bleh. No thanks. (not to mention it's a brush gun generally)
But I'd put a good optic on a bolt any time.

What about scout-style scopes?

I like them because they're usually out of the way. Never really tried one on my guns, but know guys who never mount a scope any other way. (unless you're talking a specific kind of scope, I'm going on the mounting style)

Yeah, the mounting style, though, by nature it requires a certain type of scope, namely one with long eye relief.

True, yeah.
And... I can't say I've ever shot one. I'd be more than happy to do so though... if someone wants to gimme a rifle. <_<
