I... have basically made it a policy not to comment on others' stories, and it has nothing to do with how good it is. It's about trust. If I haven't built up that level of trust with you, I don't want to be afraid of hurting any feelings or anything if I don't like the story. Basically, I've found it easier to go about, keeping my opinions to myself when solicited, unless the person honestly wants to know what I have to say, in which case... :?

You were telling him about Buddha, you were telling him about Mohammed in the same breath. You never mentioned one time the Man who came and died a criminal’s death...

But...that doesn't make sense. You haven't proven to me it's impossible. And you still didn't answer as to what your motivation was.

My motivation for... what?

Do you have a favorite Lord of the Rings character?
Government is another way of saying "better than you."

Oh.

I was just doing it because it's fun. ;) I don't really care that you like Ted Dekker. I don't really care that he writes books. It's like, oh, any of the hundreds of authors that I can't stand. I just ignore him because it bears nothing on my life.

But, actually, for part of it, I was trying to make a point. Which I made. And which you said you don't believe me about. ;)

Your point was rather...round and not pointy.

You remind me a lot of my best friend. We'll argue about stuff for hours on end, not that it actually matters, but because it's somewhat entertaining for both of us, although I think he gets more fun out of it than I do.

Anyways, what is one thing that you've always wanted to do, but have never done?

I've always wanted to get something published. And even though I have the stuff for it, I can't seem to actually buckle down, write the letter and send it off. Me = Fail. :(

It isn't that hard, is it? I mean, it would be if they didn't like it, but you keep trying, right? Right?

Sure... but where's my drive? There's the question.

I do believe there's a fire burning under your computer chair.

At least you have stuff; I can't get enough motivation to keep writing, much less just sending it in to be published.

What certain elements of music appeal to you?
