God loves you, He always will. No matter what you do, or don't do, he cares. Been there before. My entire Summer, actually.

I'll keep you in my prayers.
Thanks, man.

I'm talking about school. And with that, I'm referring falling back into my old habits of not doing much and not caring, but caring very much at the same time.
Veggie burgers?
Meh. They're okay....
Also: Dead Space: Extraction is what the Wii version is called, and IGN has a clip up. What do you think?
Could be interesting. If it's the same dev team, then it'll probably rock. If not... :/
The monsters don't look as real as they did in the first one, but the environment doesn't look to bad to me. And, oh yeah, ON RAILS PREQUEL?!?!?!?! Oh snap!
Not sure how I feel about that. If it was an FPS, then sure... but Dead Space was partially about exploration. How does that work? ;)
Are you going to console or giggle?
I'm more taking a wait and see approach. ;)

You were telling him about Buddha, you were telling him about Mohammed in the same breath. You never mentioned one time the Man who came and died a criminal’s death...

I'm not sure. The guy on IGN said the dev team was a good one, but I'm not positive if it's the original team. I do know it's preserved the dismemberment and things jumping out of nowhere style. I'm still looking forward to it, but more hesitant it'll be a gore infested shooter with no point except to shoot. Usually on-rails aren't that scary, is what I'm trying to say. At least the never scared me in arcades...

What do you think of the clip, if you've seen it?

I saw a trailer on a different site. Not sure if it's the same thing. It was... um... interesting. I don't know if it'll maintain the mood of the original, and I really hated the use of "motion" as a pun. Ugh.

Past that, looks like EA Redwood Shores is developing, with assistance from Eurocom. ... Eurocom isn't very good. EARS is, though. So.... :?

Heh. EARS. :D

I've pretty much decided to rent, at least. To say I've played it. Or maybe just some sick twisted fear...Or not. Also, the video I saw was just gameplay, no talking.

My desk lamp broke. Buy a new one at full price or live without it until I find one on sale?

Braid is phenomenal. Portal: Still Alive is pretty cool, too. And I'd highly, highly recommend Ikaruga. That one was a Gamecube shoot em up... and is pretty freaking hardcore, but it's also crazy fun. Also, Rez HD... because Rez is absolute win.

I don't remember...I've had that lamp for about 6-7 years now. Probably around $20, at a guess.

Isn't possible. ;)

Speaking of which, why are you so set upon proving that Ted Dekker can't write books so fast. Is it so I won't be disillusioned in life, or because you enjoy debate?

Is it a bad time to mention my in-family Mafia that deal in extortion?
I am free, no matter what rules surround me. If I find them tolerable, I tolerate them; if I find them too obnoxious, I break them. I am free because I know that I alone am morally responsible for everything I do - Robert A Heinlein

It's because I know that he can't do it consistently and write them well. Like I've said many times before. Novels have to have a gestation period where a number of things occur; six weeks isn't feasible, unless, you know, he's neglecting sleeping, eating and, you know, generally doing things necessary to existence.

I've been thinking about getting Braid and Ikaruga... Braid got rave reviews but I still never got an opinion from a person other than those reviews... So now, with your recommendation, Braid shall be mine. :D I will probably get Ikaruga also, because I trust your opinion.

I'm interested in Portal, but I'd rather just buy The Orange Box and get five games for $20, instead of one for $15.

So... how are you enjoying Street Fighter IV?

Thanks. I'm sure you'll enjoy them a ton. Braid is basically a puzzle game, crossed with Mario. All of the levels have different time based problems to solve... and they're all very, very awesome.

That game... actually made me decide that I hated fighting games. I can see how it's an excellently made game; however, I need a little more story to actually play a game (because I don't have a lot of time anyway), and SFIV, while very, very good, was just not that for me. Factor in the learning curve, and I was getting annoyed pretty quickly with the game. And then you've got the fact that I haven't actually played a fighting game since Soul Calibur II, on the Gamecube, in the middle of my junior year... XD
