Ah, makes sense.
Our property used to be a desert a long time back (not kidding, though it's woods filled now), and so... is very, very sandy. Stuff don't grow too well. XD
Flying chocolates... INTO MAH MOUTH.

Dude. You have sandy soil? O_O
Peppers get.
Beetle Adventure Racing?

Very, very sandy. Tough to grow much of anything. >_<
But peppers, aye? They do well in ze sand?
Also, Beetle Adventure racing... never heard of it. Good stuff?

Peppers should grow quite well. Not sure of the growing season in your area, though.
Also, BAR is one of the craziest racing games of all time. All the cars are VW bugs, there's a crashed spaceship in a cave you drive through, volcanoes, explosions, it's boss.
Did FF13 live up to your expectations?

It sounds crazy. XD
Is it a PC exclusive?
And... yeaaaaah. It blew them away. Honestly, I didn't think that a game could top the magnificent FFXII. That had been my favorite game all time for a long while... far above everything else I'd yet played. I expected FFXIII to be pretty awesome, more than likely moving into my top 5 all time. But it was so much better than that. The characters especially were just... whoa. So, so, sooo awesome. There really wasn't a single one I didn't like. Yes, I even liked Vanille. Granted, she took a bit of time to grow on me... I had to get by her annoying voice and overly cheery attitude... but later in the game? Yeah, she grew on me during a few hard scenes.
I think that's what did it with FFXIII for me. The characters. In past FF games, there always seem to be a few I... don't like/hate. Take FFXII for example. I absolutely
hated Penelo. No good redeeming part of her, I thought. Just an annoying little kid who... well, annoyed me to no end. XD
The main character to XII was Vaan, and he was pretty... meh. Especially for the first 50 hours or so of the game. I did grow to like him a bit better later on in the adventure, but... he was still a bit suckish to me. :p
And that's another thing about FFXIII. Lightning, the main protagonist, is mah favorite main hero to any FF title out there (any game period, actually). She's like Cloud in that she's... extremely hardcore/has a lot of harsh soldier traits. But she's also like Tifa in that she's got a warm heart, just doesn't let it show for the first bit of the game (it really does ease you into the characters. best development in any FF evah, easy).
So uh. Mini ramble aside... yeah. FFXIII blew away expectations.

Nah. BAR was a ye olde N64 game.
I'm glad FF13 blew you away. It looks like awesomeness.
Think you'll beat it more than 4 times?

Probably, yeah.
Still have to finish up all the hunts in my first playthrough, though. And some of them... are haaaaard. XD

Turtle things?
Also, how was your trip?

Nah. Actually... those massive turtle things are no longer such a threat. I've killed 20+ of them at this point, though it's still either hit or miss (the death spell). But it seems to work great if I have another Sab inflict them with a bunch of status ailments.
And. Pretty awesome. It's an amazing museum, totally worth a trip. Plus, we stopped on the way back to visit our old preacher. Great seeing him again. Though I think he may have been a little overwhelmed by 35-ish people storming his house/yard. XD
But yeah. Great trip. I'm wanting to get some pics up, just need to get them to a size that I can upload... and you all can still see.

No road trip joke, no. At least not one I can... think... of. <_<
Um. Point and clicks?
M$ can die. -_-
Strider wrote:How are the snakes doing?
Pretty good. I shot the ball python (he wasn't getting any better, and I couldn't/wouldn't spend the cash for the antibiotics to fix him... he was only a $50 snake, and... yeah). Other than that... everyone is doing pretty good. Big boa still isn't eating, but I don't care. He'll eat when he wants to eat, I guess. XD
Oh, and I no longer have my corn snake. Gave it away.
To my sister for her b-day.
She loves that guy. Was so happy to open him. XD

With a .22 I presume?
What kinda penetration you get against the scales?

haha
Truth be told? The little .22 blew through him like a sheet of paper (I know, sounds weird talking like this about a pet... but I still noticed :p). I use hollow points though, soooo. Yeah. Penetration has never been a problem for small-ish stuff.

I think it's pretty obvious you don't know what a Point and Click is. XD
Adventure games where you navigate solely by mouse control. Think Myst, for example.
Now what think you?
