Oh, I'll recommend them, but point out the distasteful content, too. Like Skullgirls! That game is a blast to play! Another game that I really liked - but is extremely not for kids because of the gore (which often is a turn-off for me, oddly enough) would be Dead Synchronicity. Wow... what a story, and the ending left me wanting more. I was actually thinking of this game earlier today, wondering when the next chapter will be released.

Makes complete sense. I personally have a hard time recommending games with distasteful content, even if it's rather small in the scale of the game. (Otherwise I probably would have been recommending Undertale quite a bit. XD And also quite a few other games, but a lot of games seem to have at least one thing morally distasteful in them it seems. )

Then again, I don't generally recommend things regardless as I don't want to accidentally disappoint anyone.

Sad, but true. Then again, it would be hard to find any game that doesn't have some element that might be construed as offensive. Your safest bet might be in the puzzle game genre.

Writing reviews is fun. Editing reviews is fun. But sometimes playing the games so you can make a good review is not so fun. There are a few games that I've reviewed that, as soon as the review goes live and I know I won't need any more screenshots, I've deleted off my computer. Don't wanna play no more!

It might just be me, but the current trend of making 3D animated shows and films is disappointing. At times, I do miss the old style of doing and showing animated productions. But even nowadays, there are some animated shows that air that the art style is just hideous (e.g. Teen Titans Go, Bob's Burgers, Uncle Grandpa). But there are some decent ones, too - my kids and I have watched Transformers: Robots in Disguise, and the animation on that show is pretty good. And as much as I'm reluctant to admit, My Little Pony has decent animation and style as well (better than the comics, which I picked up to try and get my younger daughter to work on her reading skills).

Sprint hitting dose knockback. Oddly, you cannot enchant or anvil enchant Axes with Fire Aspect, Looting, or Knockback.

You do have an interesting point, I do really like 3D animations, but quality 2D animations is something I would like to see more again.

I'm not surprised that Axes can't be enchanted with that stuff in survival. Those enchantments are sword exclusive, even though axes can now be used as helpful weapons, swords are still your best bet for battles (in my opinion). In real life swords were meant ONLY for battle, Axes were meant for cutting down stuff, battle axes were used for battle. Correct me if I'm wrong cause I'm not 100% sure if this is correct.

Oh! My youngest daughter designed four skyscrapers out of glass walls that had waterfalls cascading down each one into a huge reflecting pool at the bottom. Does that count? (She's 8, if that helps anything....)

I hear you. It's like they've tossed aside quality - including in writing plots - and are just churning out dreck. And sadly, people are consuming it. Of course, this is nothing new with today's culture.

Without saying too much... yes, yes it is.
It's a ten episode mini-series that's about 2 hours total in length, so it can basically be watched like a movie.
It's certainly one of the most intriguing cartoons I have seen in the past few years, it pays homage to old cartoons through use of colors, having a few songs, etc, and yet doesn't let it take it's identity. The beginning starts simple yet mysterious, and when the plot thickens, it thickens.
Oh, and the main character is voiced by the guy who played Frodo in Lord of the Rings. (I actually couldn't tell at first. XD)
I guess in short, it's one of those cartoons where you can feel the effort and passion put into it.

I find science to be more interesting, but history is generally less taxing on my poor math brain. I'd pick science. Especially if we narrow it down to astronomy.

Music can be a great way to set the mood or complement a story. As a stand-alone piece, though, it may just leave the viewer confused as to what's really happening. Like with interpretive dance. Maybe it's just my approach as a writer, but if the viewer can't tell what's going on, then some revisions are necessary.
