What do I better identify with: team player, or lone wolf?

Hang on... let's turn off copy-and-paste mode....

Tough call. I'm leaning toward that raspberry Coke, but a nice grape Fanta is good too. Unfortunately, that isn't caffeinated....

Edit: Ooh! I forgot about gourmet root beers! Those tend to win out. The best one I've had was Dang! That's Good Butterscotch Root Beer. Pretty sure I could drink a case of that and still want more....

Here's something I've been considering...Time travel. Let's say you go back and try to stop a dictator from coming to power.

In the movies, you go back in time, work your time changing magic, then pop back to a glorious future (or an even worse one, if you've got a terrible writer who wants to try and be 'original') where history has been changed. But!

Wouldn't the very instant you changed time eliminate the reason your future self had to go back in time, thus meaning you never actually did, thus meaning history doesn't change, leaving you stuck in a causal loop?

There are a couple ways I've seen that sort of thing rectified in stories.

The first is that the time traveler somehow exists outside of the timeline once the changes have been made. They remember the past that didn't happen, even if the rest of the world believes that it never occurred (because it didn't, really). So the reason the time traveler went back in time does still exist, just in the traveler's mind. (This is the most common usage, done from series such as Dr. Who and The Simpsons.)

The second is that the time traveler will be affected by the change, but it takes a while for time to flow "backwards," as it is, in order to rectify the discrepancies to the timeline. The time traveler may gradually fade from existence, or pop out shortly afterwards. (Back to the Future is a good example of this.)

Amusingly enough, I've seen some TV series do both over the course of the adventures, such as Phineas and Ferb.

So basically, the writers will just go ahead and do whatever they want. When you're messing around with the big timey-wimey ball, who needs logic, anyway?

I generally just use YouTube to look up music videos (typically from the '80s and '90s). So I don't really watch it on a regular basis!

That being said, I do like the things that Lindsey Stirling and Pentatonix put out, so I guess it would be the videos that those two offer.

I don't have this problem. Since the area where I live doesn't have cell service, I don't really have a cell phone! We've got one for emergency purposes when we're driving, but that's about the extent of it. (And usually my wife's got it.)

If they ever put up a cell tower where I live, this could change. They've been saying that there's going to be one built... for the past three years....

The government is slow and inefficient. But, believe it or not, that the way it's supposed to be. That way, the government will be to preoccupied to prevent the individual from doing what needs to be done in a more efficient, timely fashion.

In fact, it's been seen that governments that do tend to be highly efficient are dictatorships, and the individuals have very few rights or liberties.

As a Libertarian / Constitutionalist, I see this as evidence that we need to have a society that is less dependent on the government, and rely more upon themselves. The less intrusive the government is in our lives, the better it is for everyone.

The music is surprisingly goo, in my opinion. Soothing and atmospheric. I've been generally impressed with my second go-round with the game. (My first attempt was a disaster - I played the demo twice, and messed up both times, mainly because I had no idea what I was doing. But that was years (and several versions) ago.)

They do a good job. It's interesting how the sounds become a key gameplay element - listening for water or lava behind the walls, for example, or the distinctive sound of a zombie coming at you from behind the trees, before you can see it. There are quite a few games where I can play without the volume on, but the noises becomes extremely useful in MC.
