Do you mind if I ask questions frequently like I have been doing?

Actually, I've never heard of the miniatures version of the game until you linked it. Have you played it? Is it complicated?

Does D&D count? To tell you the truth, there are so many great games out there that it would be difficult for me to narrow it down to one. Boggle? The Farming Game? Blokus? Something else? So many to choose from!

Each of my questions adds 1 post to my count, and your response adds one to yours. Doing this boosts both of our post counts but the margin between us stays the same.

Have you played the board game "Sorry!"? It is really fun.

There's not a lot of games I haven't heard of. ;) I do get surprised now and then, though.

I have played Sorry! many, many times. It's based off the ancient game of Pachisi (a.k.a. Parcheesi), and the cards give it a fun variation of an old classic. Actually, Sorry! is an old classic!

One thing I find interesting is the longevity of games. Why do some games, like Risk, Sorry! or Monopoly, last so long, while others are just a flash-in-the-pan and die out before it's finished with its first printing? Believe it or not, some colleges are offering courses in "game studies," looking at the history of games, as well as applications in the current world (not just as entertainment, but ways to apply some principles of games to business). Once you (or whoever is reading this) gets to looking for a college degree, this could be a viable career choice. How does that sound - gaming for a career!

Sounds cool!

Not many games get into the "Classics" category, but the ones that do are very fun.

I'm generally not that fond of cities. They're usually full of people.

That being said, my wife and I visited Boise once, and that place isn't too bad. We've even considered moving there.

What an odd question!

I would have to say Tidyman's even though it's been closed for several years now. It was still the best!

Of stores still open, I'd have to say it's a tossup between Yokes and Rosauers. Yokes would be better if they had one around where I lived (each one I've been in has a nice, clean environment, and the sound effects in the dairy and meat sections are fun), and Rosauers tends to have a section called "Huckleberries" that specializes in organic products.

I have; I own the starter set. ^_^ It's very much about maneuvering and out flying your opponent more than just gunning them down, so I really enjoy it. :D I didn't find the rules, or putting them into practice, hard to learn, and my dad (who isn't a huge gamer) was able to learn them pretty easy and play it in one sitting. Everything is done with the included templates. I wouldn't call it complicated out of the box, though it certainly could be depending on the players.

Is this another restaurant I've never heard of?

If you're just talking about the insects, sure, I like them. They make honey, and are much friendlier than yellow jackets or other wasp-like bugs (armored flying tanks). My daughter, the aspiring entomologist, loves them, of course.

It was the name of one of my Everquest characters, many many years ago. He was an iksar necromancer, and my "second main." I've used that name ever since in various places and forums (especially if I'm playing a game which allows lizard people as a playable race). Wherever I go, I'm pretty sure that name hasn't been taken.
