Suggestions for looking for a first car?
Thanks for the concern, my friend. I'm not sad; I'm angry, sickened and distracted. ;)

Go to either small dealers or look on sites like Vehix.com. They should give you a pretty good idea of what to expect. And also, give you a pretty good idea of how to proceed. Honestly, a site like Vehix will allow you to look at local, non-dealer owned cars, which could prove to be pretty helpful in the long run.

Thanks for the site. Our local newspaper is terrible. It still has ad's from September. And the cars sold in September. :D

What's most important: Insurance or gas mileage?

See, I haven't been able to figure out whether it would actually be cheaper to pay more insurance, but less gas, or vice-versa.

Both are very important. Ideally, you want to go for cheap on both, but if that's not possible, I'd say look at cheap for gas, first. That's going to be more frequent than the insurance, and ultimately, matters a bit more.

That, I think I can do.

Have you ever hit your shoulder on the frame of the couch?

I think so... long ago. Wasn't pleasant, as I recall.

Not especially. Neither is flopping down on it. :D Though it's really funny.

What is the current temperature of your left ear?

I... have no idea. That's a bit random.

Why not?

^Genuine question. Not forcing you to like him.

What I've heard of his is way too poppy for me. I hear he's a great guitarist, and that's cool... but I have no desire to listen to him.

I shall duct tape you to the wall and force you to like him!

Actually, did you know that, upon slamming your head into something metal, it actually makes that clanging noise your hear on cartoons?

Do you find that as funny as I do?

I mean, with all the wacky cartoon physics, they managed to nail the head slamming on the dot.

Yeah... it's very, very amusing.
