Got it to copy my games and launch them from the hard drive, and replaced the hard drive with a 300 gig one.
Oh, and I could do other things.
Just haven't yet.

Would it be possible to use an X-Box to play PC games?

It can play some DOS games, yes.
Anything newer......you start over-working the Xbox's CPU.

I was talking like...OK, Area 51. It's on both platforms. Taking the PC version and making it work for the X-Box?

Afraid that doesn't work.
believe it or not, video game consoles have less powerful components than a PC of the same generation does. So, for example, Area 51's PC version wouldn't work on Xbox due to a couple of reasons.
1, the Xbox doesn't meet the minimum specs required to run Area 51.
2, it would require different software/hardware architecture to run, so you would need a virtual machine or something like it. And those things are like emulators. They seem small, but on a low-end PC (I.E. lower than yours) it can mean that you can't run any games.
Just for your information, here are the specs of an original xbox.
CPU: 733 MHz Intel Pentium III
Memory: 64 MB of DDR SDRAM @ 200 MHz
Graphics: 233 MHz nVidia NV2A
Hard Disk Drive: 8-10 GB
Yeah.

First, Halo 2 was made for the Xbox.
Secondly, it's called Software Porting.
What they do is copy the resources and rewrite the code to work on the new platform.
There's more, if you like. just ask.

I knew Halo 2 was designed for the Box, but the PC port of it required much higher specs than that...And as far as I know, looked the same. Same with HL2.
More?

Well, there's optimization.
From what I hear (And I know you have more experience with the Xbox port of HL2) HL2 runs more choppily than the PC version.
Also, a console has no other tasks running in the background, so it can run things on lower specs.
Also, Halo 2 on the PC did look better. IMO anyway.

I'd say it was the other way around. But I was running HL2 PC on a terrible computer. XD

Oh.
Never read it.
Library doesn't have it and I'm too lazy (And cheap) to buy it.
