Hmm...rather epic. No doubt. I should probably read more Shakespeare. Or, at least Shakespeare that isn't in comic book form?
?

Definitely read Shakespeare that isn't in comic book form. Pick up one of the plays... they cost very little... and are amazing.Chozon1 wrote:Hmm...rather epic. No doubt. I should probably read more Shakespeare. Or, at least Shakespeare that isn't in comic book form?

You were telling him about Buddha, you were telling him about Mohammed in the same breath. You never mentioned one time the Man who came and died a criminal’s death...

They're amazing, and you'll probably find them exceedingly droll.
Seriously. Shakespeare's plays were not meant to be read. They're meant to be seen. I can fall asleep reading his plays.

They were also meant to be read aloud in a group setting. Or, by yourself. I've done both... but have neglected to see them live. Why? Because I'm in it for the language, the story and the characterization, not the performances.Obigone wrote:They're amazing, and you'll probably find them exceedingly droll.

I was going to make a cheesy pun, actually. I just couldn't think of one.
Except "Art-guing", but that's just stupid.
I challenge you to think of a pun?

The Milwaukee theater has put on some truly amazing Shakespeare plays. Like...the best plays I've ever seen have been Shakespeare from there. Some of the stuff from they did in The Comedy of Errors has stayed with me since I was 14. It was amazing.Drewsov wrote:Eh, if any of it was as poor as Julie Taymor's Titus, then I'll pass.Obigone wrote:Then you've probably missed some really amazing stuff.Drewsov wrote:

So what I'm saying...is that you need to come to Milwaukee to watch some plays with me.
