It's impossible to react to Free Willy with anything but derisive amusement when one knows the real-life stories of Keiko, who was the orca who played Wlly, and Tilikum, one of the inspirations for the character.

Suffice it to say freeing an orca that's been in captivity is not... so simple.

You mean in the same way that one has for disney's Little Mermaid, when one knows the ending of the actual story?
