Krat and guy:
As you glance around the room, it is filled with varous decorative vases and plants. Several small booshelves, a map table, and then....
You see a tap with several mugs around it. The tap itself seems to go into the tree. There are several wooden mugs around it.

Minather slinks into the room, almost as if against his will. The others didn't hear him until he rustled his scroll. Disinterestedly, he listens to the sound of the room. He eventually notices a few books that look familiar to him.
It is a strange thing, how the winds of fate can guide... he says trailing off as he examines everyone else in the room. I assume you have the mark as well? he asks as he lifts a portion of his hair exposing a glowing area on the side of his neck just below the ear. He casts a wary look at Kratimos, sensing a disturbing air coming from him. A lycan, he says having overheard the conversation, gazing at Kratimos, and a holy warrior, looking at Guy. I don't suppose any of you are in charge?

Kratimos could hear the elf wizard silently stalking about, but he was too preoccupied in getting a drink to be bothered. To answer his question, he just pointed to the closed doors while never taking his gaze off the tap.
Kratimos was unsure he'd get an ale or a mug of sap, but it was worth a try.
He took one mug and filled it up to the top and took a draught. A little sweeter than the bitter ales he preferred, almost like a mead.
"It's not bad." He said to himself. He took a look at the mug after another drink, and emblazoned on it was a signet of a smiling tree with the words "Treebeard's Tree Beer. We never brew anything unless it is worth taking a long time to brew."
Kratimos chuckeled to himself and filled up his mug, "You should try one, twinkle toes. And you too slinker."

Minather glared at Kratimos, and resumed looking at the room. ((Fathom, can you describe what I'm seeing? Or more importantly, should I roll a Spot check or a Knowledge check? ))
While he looked, he cast a few glances down at his scroll. He took the locket off from his neck, and opened it. He was careful to angle it so that only he could see the inside. The locket emanated a faint glow and Minather smiled, and put the locket away. He dragged his finger across the scroll in a strange, almost ritualistic way. He then put the scroll back in his pocket.

Still somewhat embarrassed to look Father Michael in the eye, CrimsonBlade responds back saying "Well I'm only fluent in the native tongue, anything beyond that will be over my head. I'm always up for a challenge but learning a new language will take a lot of time which I fear we do not have much of these days. The skies are looking grim and there's some foul magic in the air. If we are to survive, we must fight back no matter the odds. That's why I'm here. I realize there's not much of a bounty but if there's danger and adventure, I'm in. Back to the books, if you have any recommendations on being more agile, I'm all ears. I can always squeeze in a quick workout routine that's proven to work. It sounds like we have another visitor, I better not take up any more of your time." With that she gathers her belongings and gives one quick glance before leaving the study.

Guy makes his way over to the tap, accepting Kratimos' invitation, reminding himself that while ale i permitted by his Order, it is to be taken only in moderation, like everything else. Pouring himself a mug he takes a tentative sip, taking a moment to exprience the flavor, then a longer drink, not realizing until now how thirsty he has become from the road.
What were two are now four, and while he can clearly see the brands on the other men, he can only guess at where the woman's brand lies, but gathers that it must not be in a place considered decent for casual view and so he pushes it from his mind. Everything in moderation, but some things not at all he reminds himself silently.
Clearing his throat with his thoughts he looks to their host. "Father Michael, do you know precisely how many more will arrive?"

((Hey everyone, you want to make sure you keep a firm grasp on who is where. Father Michael is in the other room with the door closed unless you were trying to get his attention through the wall))
When you drink the "ale" you feel a sudden rush of rest wash over you as if you just had the best night of sleep you could imagine.
Father Michael hears the others stirring.
"Come child, I believe we are being expected." Father Michael begins to walk toward the door as soon as Crimson is clerly ready to leave.
When he walks in the room. He notices the first two have mugs in thier hands.
"Easy with that now boys, that's druidic wine. A magic beverage that has some very ill effects if you drink too much. One cup a day is more than enough."
He glances over to notice the new comber to the group.
"And who might you be, follower of Vecna?"
Minather-When Father Michael enters the room, something inside you stirs. There is an uneasyness within you in regard to this man.
"Strange that you would be one of the branded."

Guy pretends to take another drink from his mug to hide his embarrassment at turning around and attempting to address a man who wasn't there. As Father Michael returns to the room, he seems to give no sign of having heard the question and Guy is happy to pretend not to have asked. Another moment's thought and he places the half-empty mug on the table. Perhaps he can blame the drink...

I take it that you are Father Michael? he asks, while staring unblinkingly at Michael. Not entirely sure what to make of him, his mark aches a little as if disturbed. He feels incredibly uneasy around him. As such, he reflexively puts his hand in his pocket and grasps the scroll within.
As for whom I worship, that is neither here nor there. What is, however, is why we are all here. Care to explain? he says with a wary, yet strong voice.

Guy's ears perk up, as eager as anyone to know the answer to this question.

CrimsonRose makes her way into the lobby and fills a mug full of this mysterious wine. It's sweet to the taste yet has a powerful kick. She finds a chair close by and reclines her feet and listens to the banter. She's hoping to find out why everyone with a mark was summoned here. Wait a sec she thinks...cozy environment...check...strong drink..check...food...she looks around....food...."Hey father Michael...some of us have traveled quite a ways to get here. To make sure we all get started off on the right foot, perhaps discussing our purpose for being here over good meal will help those who drank this good wine on an empty stomach!

For Kratimos
He looks around and smiles. "You can say I have a vested interest in those who have that specific mark. For know, understand that you are key individuals who will be responsible for the restoration of Agronon."
He looks over at Minather, "What's in it for you? You might ask. Aside for an opportunity to be the saviors of an indebted kingdom, there may be some things of a personal measure."
He tosses a small pottery shard in the direction of Minather
Minather
"There was one more individual, perhaps he is running late and may need to meet you on the road. SO," He claps his hands and rubs them together, "Who's ready for an adventure?!"

Kratimos put the cup down. It went to his head faster than he thought, and decided against drinking any more, disregarding how "fine" he felt.
"Sure, always. But what is it exactly do you want us to do," Kratimos asked, rubbing the side of his head. "Or kill."
((Glad I passed that check! Does my stat chart look fine? Also, are the spoilers only supposed to be seen by the address player, or can they we all check it out?))
