Well, I've got it running at 90 on the thermostat. The light is fine, as by itself it doesn't raise temps above 79-82. If he can't see it, I see no problem with leaving it on, and just using my room light to set his day/night cycle. Am I wrong on that?
Too, I clean his water bowl really good when I change his paper (every Monday), but otherwise just refill it...I figured since he didn't poo in it, that was OK. But I'll try and start wiping it out every other day.
Also...he seems to be getting better. Two days ago, I heard him clicking when I was holding him. Yesterday, I had to hold him up to my ear (which was uncomfortable for both of us. O_O I'd just bathed him, and since he hates it, I imagine he was in a good mood to face-bite someone. XD) to hear it. He's also moving around more...but who knows? I'm notorious at this kinda thing for phailing.
What's my plan of action? I can't really afford to take him to the vet, but if he needs it, I could sell some stuff.

I wouldn't do a vet trip yet, because honestly... they aren't gonna do much. At least not right away, and not without charging some serious cash. -_-
Wait a second.
Did you hear the clicking fairly soon after you bathed him? If so, then don't worry about it. XD
Sometimes when in water they'll get it in their nose, and that's all you heard I bet.
I honestly don't recommend "bathing" snakes. Most of them utterly hate it, and it's very stressful. Bathing = stress. Stress = not healthy.
If he sheds badly, that's one thing. A lukewarm soak is necessary then. But snakes don't need baths in the same way as, say, a dog does. Most don't like it (there are exceptions, but not as many), as it changes their internal body temp just like *that*. >_<
So I'm thinking in the end he was just too hot. If he's getting better now with the temps at 90-ish, I'd keep it that way and don't go to the vet. Corn's are unbelievably hardy, and are quick healers. ^_^
btw, where are you feeding him? You're not feeding him in anything that has loose bedding, right? I think I remember you saying you'll be using newspaper. It's a bad idea to feed in a cage/wherever where there is loose bedding (aspen, sand, bark, whatever) as it can cause impaction (something sticks to the mouse on the way down). That's very, very bad. o.o
But if you're feeding in a separate box or a cage with newspaper, no worries. XD

Nah, the second time I heard the clicking was after the bath (which I gave him to replenish fluids. I wasn't sure he had been getting enough) but I heard it the day before when I was just holding him.
I feel I should also note that I haven't bathed my dog in years. XD O_O
I'm feeding him in his cage at the moment. Lined with newspaper. I was thinking about getting some aspen though, so thanks for the warning.
Also, take note of "seems". By all appearance, he's doing better. Leastways I haven't seen him do the weird inhaling thing, and he's moving around a lot more. But I'm still not sure.
At any rate, do you think he would enjoy aspen over newspaper, and would it make him feel more secure?

Ah, gotcha.
And... smelly dog? o.O
XD
Well, I just don't want you to spend the money on the vet just because you're not sure what's up. If he was steadily getting worse, then sure that'd be a good idea. But if he's starting to act more on the "normal" side of things, then... yeah. XD
And in my experience, yes: he would love aspen bedding. My little king absolutely loves it. So don't my corn and baby boa. Not sure if it makes them feel more secure (though I don't doubt it) but they absolutely love to make tunnels and play in it. I'd give it to all my snakes, but some of those larger cages (read: boa's 150-ish gallon wood tank) take so much... yeah. I don't wanna go broke.
This one bag here:
http://www.reptilesupply.com/product.ph ... cts_id=679
I got that for Christmas (first time I bought a 24qt bag) and it is
huge. I filled (as in 1-2 inches at the bottom) a 30 gallon long, a 20 gallon long, and two 10 gallons. And I still had a half a bag left. O_O
And it's dirt cheap off of that site, even with shipping which I think is around $9. ^_^
That bag I would guess... it'd last you (supplying just the one 10 gal) between 6 months and a year, depending on how much you put in (you only have to change it out completely every month/month and a half or so; when he poo's, just spot clean).
I recommend it, totally. I love newspaper (I use it for bigger cages, and whenever I have nothing else) and it does the job fine. But aspen just looks so nice. And the snakes absolutely love it.

It's a neat looking game, but (correct me if I'm wrong) it's only online multiplayer. I wouldn't mind that if I could get it really cheap (seeing I can only hook up on the weekends with high speed) but otherwise... not so much.

Do you know what bird this is? I saw this bird on the web but they did not have the name. Can you help?

I think he's getting better. The swelling stomach has gone down, and I held him up near my head and heard no clicking (didna hold him for more than around 10 seconds though.). He's also acting more normal. Scooching around his cage more, and actually acting like he cares about stuff.
Still lethargic, but better.
Kiwi's?

Sorry, but I don't know what that is. :/
It's wild looking, though.

Good to hear. Sounds like he is getting a bit better. ^_^
And haven't had one in years. I think I like them, but just don't remember.

Hmm.
Live crickets.
No. Joke. They don't necessarily taste bad, just... odd. And kinda dirty (they were... "freshly killed". as in I just ate them >_<). I was much younger (ten-ish, I believe). It was when I had green anoles, and I read about how John the Baptist ate bugs... and went "hey, me try that".
>_<

Be they accurate?
