Minority Report - I've seen it several times before, but I'm watching it again (had to stop halfway through for work), and it's just as enjoyable as the other times, if not more enjoyable now that I study movies a bit more now. I think it's my favorite science fiction film of all time (come on...it's sci-fi), and definitely one of Spielberg's greatest achievements as a director.
Aside from the amazing acting from Tom Cruise and Samantha Morton, as I watched it, I couldn't believe how visually impressive the film is. For a movie that was made almost six years ago, it could have easily been released in 2007. It looks that good. Definitely one of the most convincing and believable looks into the near future that I've seen in a film. I'll admit that the jetpack flying scene wasn't on par with the rest of the film as far as how realistic it looked, but even that was fun and was choreographed very well.
Okay, I ramble. But this is one of the best films I've ever seen, and I think I realized just how much I like it while watching it this time around.
A+
What was the last movie you watched?

Cloverfield
I saw it again with my friend, and it definitely wasn't as great the second time around. Still holds a solid A-, though.
I want to see There Will Be Blood so badly in the theatre. O_O But my parents and sister keep saying to wait for it to come out on DVD, even if I pay for myself. Blarg. A preview for it came on the telly, and I was literally sitting on the edge of the sofa with my mouth gaping. Daniel Day-Lewis FTW.

About fifteen minutes of Pursuit of Happyness before school. Man, Will Smith is good.
You should place trust in your friends. But you can't expect someone to protect you all the time.

Watched part of my favorite Bond movie, Casino Royale, on the flight out. Still great. Still love it.
Then, I watched Children of Men. Amazing movie. I've already seen it... but it's still immensely gripping, and sad, to boot. The direction is spot on, the acting superb.

You were telling him about Buddha, you were telling him about Mohammed in the same breath. You never mentioned one time the Man who came and died a criminal’s death...

Definitely fun, and it got a few good laughs out of me. But really nothing special; something to watch on a rainy day to cheer you up. I have to say that Brad Pitt and Angelina work quite well together. Cute.

Finally! I loved this movie. It only made me respect for Christian Bale and Russel Crowe even more. Very sad, especially at the end, but it was most definitely a good sad.

Me and some old friends pulled an all-nighter and watched:
The Patriot
Shanghai Knights
A Knight's Tale
Heath Ledger nostalgia, ftw.

Let's just say that Fantastic Four's dialogue is lamer than a punchline to a gay joke.Deepfreeze32 wrote:What do you mean?Trudogger wrote:Are...you...serious?Deepfreeze32 wrote:Both Fantastic 4 movies.

Well, I absolutely loathed the Spiderman movies, so it was better.
Not the best, I'll concede to that, but good entertainment.

Dude. Spider-Man was awesome (the first one, at least).
Jurassic Park
A classic. Never gets old.
