Ned Kelly - I watched it just because Heath Ledger was in it, and I wanted to reminisce. Solid movie, fun, and Heath Ledger plays at a character that dies at 25.

I broke down and watched the first Parry Blotter movie. It was actually entertaining, but I've seen better.

Ratatouille.

Pixar has done it again. I'd say this is their worst movie, but it's still better than, say, The Wild or something. It was refreshingly original, and quite funny. The shorts were hilarious and wonderful, and the behind-the-scenes featurette was astonishingly inspiring.

Today, I watched...

Eastern Promises -
I'm not sure what to make of this movie. On the one hand, it was very solid. On the other hand, I think it needed another half an hour or so of plot at the end to please my curiosity. It was solid, but it was setting up to be epic. Also, I really didn't need to see Viggo Morteinsen's (spelling?) business. Overall, I give it a B for great acting and good storyline.

Shoot 'Em Up -
Wow. Just wow. I didn't realize this was a comedy before I rented it. It pretty much came across as the Kung Fu Hustle of American rogue hero films. It was fun. More sex than I cared to see, but still enjoyable. On the whole, B-.
