Finished the BBC version of Pride and Prejudice. It's really very well done, and very well-acted. Colin Firth, especially - and he had the hardest part to play, I think.

Recent movies I've watched:

National Treasure: Book of Secrets--Bland action movie that was pretty good for what it was. C+

3:10 to Yuma--Second time I've seen this, but I'm continually impressed by both Russel Crowe and Christian Bale. Both deliver amazing performances. B+

Life of Brian--Why did I watch this? Oh, that's right... I needed to laugh. Pretty funny, but not on the level of Monty Python and the Holy Grail or anything. And it's about ten times more sacrilegious. B

Se7en--Just bought this movie, and I've gotta say: on second viewing, the movie is still as captivating as it was the first time I saw it. A

You were telling him about Buddha, you were telling him about Mohammed in the same breath. You never mentioned one time the Man who came and died a criminal’s death...

Scarface - Al Pacino was amazing. And the film was pretty darn good, too. Actually much better than I thought it would be.

Well, it's crawled up from third place, past Jakob the Liar and Dear Frankie, and is now my first favorite.

I cried the most I've ever cried at a movie during the ending.

Makes me feel like throwing on a kilt and running around the streets screaming "FREEEEEEEEDOOOOOOOOM!" :P Um. Not really.

Life of Brian wasn't sacrilegious. They just mistook Brian for Jesus. What's to get fired up over?

Last one I saw was An Inconvenient Truth. F--. Boring propaganda and lies.

The Godfather Part III

Not as good as the first two, IMO. It really had some unforgettable moments, though.

Just saw Cloverfield. Pretty good... but I don't think I'll ever watch it again. Now watch me go buy the DVD in a few months.

You got a problem with that, punk? ;) Aye, that I did. There's no rule against men crying, now is there?

Cloverfield

Incredibly intense, great acting, beautiful monster design. Loved it. Much better than I thought it would be. It is most definitely not something you can recreate at home with your DVD player. And to jump on the bandwagon... A+
