Though it'd be a Star Trek thing.
Cool.

In a fight? Probably a Jedi. In mind problems? Hmm. Much tougher. Probably a Vulcan in the end, though. XD

This is correct. Alissa White-Gluz, to be exact. And she is probably my favorite vocalist all time. Not only is her brutal growl better than any guy I've ever heard (ANY guy, she's amazing), but her melodic voice is so deep and rich. It's beautiful.Strider wrote:The Agonist has a chick singer, amirite?Nix wrote:Once Only Imagined <-- The Agonist

You might like them, if you like metal. ^_^

Missed this.
It's awesome. And I need it for 360 again (had it before, but this is a different 360) to re-get all the achievements. XD
One of the best games all time. As I told Strider I've put roughly 300 hours into it, probably more when I think about all the more-recent time I put into the PS3 version.GarthVader wrote:Oblivion?

Hmm...this morning was a trying time. Jayne shed, but only partially. I noticed this last night (eye caps came off, blessedly). I had to help him out by soaking him in warm water and then letting him slide through my fingers (holding with a bit of pressure) to get the rest off. Came off in pieces, but like butter.
Did I do OK? All of it is off now. Even that little tail piece I was told to watch out for. I'm rather bugged at the moment, because I know he was damp on Christmas. I...kinda dropped a paper towel into his water bowl and didn't notice. -_- Spread out all over the cage. XD He was soaked.
Also, for the record in case you get an amel, his eyes didna turn blue. They turned silver. His colors, too, didn't really dull, just a tiny bit; I thought he was cold again.

Ah, gotcha.
And I think you did fine. Exactly how you're supposed to help a snake that has poorly shed.
I'm a bit curious as to why he didn't shed in one piece. Corns (and most colubrids, for that matter) are usually great in that area. Did you mist him? If not, well... guess you're gonna have to do it from now on. Any lamp will dry out the air, it's just how they are (reg. bulbs less so than ceramic heaters, but they still do it somewhat).
And thanks for letting me know 'bout the eye thing, I had no idea they didn't turn blue. XD

Reading this has given me a lot of insight into how much freaking hard work having a snake for a pet is. O_O
Ummm
remember that episode of Buffy where Spike shows up? And then remember the one where he comes back to Sunnydale again after Dru leaves him?
Which one was more awesome? :/ I can't decide.

nah, snakes aren't really hard work once you get them down. Though I may change that opinion, because... I'm dead serious... I'm planning on buying a burmese python in the near future (couple of weeks). That's a snake that will hit a minimum of 15ft. God help me.Lazarus wrote:Reading this has given me a lot of insight into how much freaking hard work having a snake for a pet is. O_O

But they're also one of the "nicest" snakes on the planet.
Aaaaand. Dunno.
Man.
That's a HARD decision.
Spike crashes into the fence the first time and comes out all nonchalantly and "mean"... second time he stumbles out drunk as spaghetti. So awesome both times. XD
Tough to pick.

And I didn't really get a chance to mist him. On Christmas, the cage was very wet. So that was fine. The day after, I misted him a bit, but I didn't actually see him shed. I woke up to see pieces of skin in his cage. Also, he ate nicely that Saturday, so I figured he wasn't shedding. I need to figure out why his cage is that dry...
Yay for happy eating snakes?
