It's one of the benefits (or detriments) of living in the South. If someone doesn't have a strong opinion on something, give them five minutes. :P

There's an obscure Marvel reference if I've ever heard one... I read an issue years ago where he took over for Thor, but I have no idea what he's up to these days... or even if he's been killed off in the Marvel universe. What is that alien up to these days, anyway?

I'm not actually sure either. I only know the older legend too. He's in several Marvel cartoons though, Thoring it up. I like him, though.

Wondering why the video isn't working, only to find out after several minutes you've muted your computer?

That's almost as good as spending several moments trying to turn up the volume on the television, then realizing you're holding the wrong remote.

No it's just fun. I found a pumpkin almost as big as my sister a week or so ago. It was probably the biggest pumpkin I've seen in a store.

Is that the one theoretical spacecraft which is powered by nuclear explosions? No, that was something else that, fortunately, never even reached the testing stage....

The Orion Spacecraft sounds pretty cool! It will be interesting to see what comes of it - especially if it can handle a manned mission to Mars!

Aren't you full of questions!
Partyninja wrote:destiny or halo?
Meh. I'm not a big fan of first-person shooters. Probably Destiny because that's one that doesn't require me to own a Micro$oft product.
Partyninja wrote: minecraft or terraria?
Out of the two, I'd have to choose Minecraft. But I don't know how often I'd play it.
Partyninja wrote:rabbit or dog cake or pie
I don't think I'd like dog... but I've tried rabbit. It's not a taste I'm fond of, but I could eat it if I had to.
Partyninja wrote:and last how do you want to die?
I actually can't answer that here, because the answer would probably get me banned from the forums. Read into that what you will.

Always go with Destiny. Amazing game. Which I can't currently play since I don't own the expansions. So maybe less amazing than I say.

Sometimes, you have to make up a word to express your frustration adequately?

So what makes Destiny different from the glut of cookie-cutter FPS games out there? What features or qualities makes it stand out from all the rest? (I'm not trying to knock it - as someone who couldn't tell you the difference between Call of Duty, Medal of Honor, or Halo, I'm genuinely curious.)

That's typically when I go into snarktastical mode, which isn't always appercited by my peers. ;)

Terraria is great. Personally, I like Terraria much more than Minecraft.

By rat pet do you mean rodent pet? What does she want?

I LOVE gerbils. Also I convinced my hubby that we should get a cat even though he agrees with Ron Swanson who says cats are useless. So basically I'm rooting for your wife most likely. Unless it's actually a rat, then no pets, haha

Mind if I ask why? What makes Terraria a better game than Minecraft?

That could be painful... especially if it's a night I sleep with my head under the blankets.

Destiny is much more world and atmosphere focused, and more of an RPG than a straight up FPS run-and-gun experience. It tells a nice story, but it's more about putting the player into the world and letting them become a Guardian rather than "Here's the story; beat it? You're done". It's also not an A-B game. It plays much more like Diablo, or even a lesser Borderlands. The weapons and armor work like an RPG, that you can buy them or find them, and your character levels up on a skill tree, with three modes for each class. So...RPG with FPS combat? It's still very much an FPS, but it's also very much more.

I've got no complaints, really. Well. I don't like the expansion essentially nullifying those of us who didn't buy it. But I'm not annoyed enough to swear off the game. :P
