That movie is absolutely hilarious. Definitely one of the funnies flicks ever made. :) It's wrong in so many places (so... so wrong...) but funny at the same time.

Definitely not a film for kids, though.

You know, I saw it when I was a kid. I didn't find it funny at all, though everyone I watched it with was dying of laughter. I'm tempted to watch it again now, just to see if it was lost on my Arthurian lore loving self. I did hear the "are you suggesting coconuts migrate" bit the other day, and now I'm working that into as many conversations as I can, because it's hilarious. It's like "Wait. You haven't seen The Avengers yet? Are you suggesting coconuts migrate?"

It's even better with "srs bidness" conversations. I can't wait to slap it down in my next political discussion.

The humor might be lost on some people. OK, most people.

I like them. Want to hear something funny? Corn is also known as "maize," right? So you could be in a maize maze! An amazing maize maze!

... well I find it funny. ;)

The humor stems less from the phrase, and more from the blank looks of stunned confusion. It's like a conversational smoke bomb, both alarming and confusing. Annoying gold.

That tends to be a popular phrase, locally (the maize thing, not the coconuts). There are at least two highly popular "haunted maizes" local to me, where they spook up a normal corn maze. Fun times, if not my cup of tea.

They're bloody!

... well, not really. But that sure sounds creepy, doesn't it?

Did you get a chance to see the eclipse on Sunday? My family missed out on the first half because the moon was still behind a bunch of hills and trees. But we did get to see it about halfway through, after the moon had risen far enough. Kinda neat!

Why would I want to attack Titan? There's nothing there to fight. If I wanted it, I could just walk on it and plant my flag. Well... after I built a spaceship, of course.

(If you're referring to the anime, I've never seen it. Nor have I ever played the game. Do you recommend it?)

I do highly recommend the anime, but it's really violent and it has a lot of blood and gore. I haven't played the game yet but I really want to.

Eww... I'm not a big fan of blood and gore, and anime series sometimes have a tendency to really push the envelope when it comes to that. I'm not sure that I'd want to see it now....

Yum... I love me some asparagus! Especially grilled with some olive oil and cracked pepper!

You know, asparagus scented weewee is one of the only scents that makes me sick at my stomach. So I don't eat it too often. So yeah.

But I did see the eclipse a bit. ^_^ It was cloudy here, so we only managed to get glimpses of it when it was waxing. Beautiful times, though.

Stenciling letter's is a surprisingly difficult task?

Actually, I find that adds to its appeal. It does fun things to your body. ;)

It shouldn't be... that's why the stencil is there. Of course, if you're an artist, you could find that the stencil is too constricting, and you'll constantly want to break out of that box....

In space it's called ... SPACECHEM!!!!!

Chemistry is all right - it's fun to see what it does and what you can make. But with all the math involved, it can be a bit intimidating. At least to me....

I was stenciling a name yesterday. Making the letter's come out clear wasn't terribly difficult (after, you know, we messed up the first time). But lining them up correctly under the stencil? That required all manner of folderol. It almost would've been easier to freehand it and accept the freehandyness of it, but it wasn't my project. I was playing lovely assistant.

I recommend using a ruler (or the edge of the stencil) and a pencil to draw a very faint, straight line to indicate where the letters are supposed to line up at the bottom. Once you're done placing the letters, erase the faint line. :)

If you're referring to the PBS Mystery series, that show rocks! If you're referring to the books, I've only read a couple, but they were good, too. :) My wife loves both of them - especially since she considers them pretty much historically accurate (she's a huge stickler about that sort of thing).

I think it's because of the teacher, but I am not enjoying chemistry at all. It's really complicated and the teacher's strong Indian accent doesn't help me understand things at all. SpaceChem looks really cool though!

If guaranteed that you would get to do at least one thing on your bucket list, what one thing would you want it to be?
