I watched a few episodes years ago, but never became that big of a fan. Some of those episodes seemed rather pointless, actually. I'm not big on fight scenes that take 17 episodes to resolve.Emwok wrote:

I'm normally not one for first-person shooters. But I do have to admit... this was my favorite option in the Marathon games for gunning down enemies. Even the reload animation they used was cool.Emwok wrote:

That really depends on if being fireproof comes with the package.Chozon1 wrote:Becoming a whirling dervish of flaming death is possibly the best power ever?
That is my favorite loadout in Fistful of Frags.Sstavix wrote:I'm normally not one for first-person shooters. But I do have to admit... this was my favorite option in the Marathon games for gunning down enemies. Even the reload animation they used was cool.Emwok wrote:

In real life... not so much. Shotguns tend to have a bit of a kick, and sawed off ones, even moreso. If you're not ready for it, you have a chance of smacking yourself in the face when you pull the trigger.
You mean like neon lights? Or something else?Emwok wrote: Weird shaped light bulbs?
Details, details.Sstavix wrote:That really depends on if being fireproof comes with the package.
I thought Destiny was a sci-fi game....Chozon1 wrote:
Details, details. That's my Warlock's super ability in Destiny. I can revive from the dead and sling fireballs everywhere. Good times. Especially when the opposing team has turned their backs on my corpse.
That depends... are there paint ball guns involved?Chozon1 wrote:Painting a room is a surprisingly large hassle?
Sort of. When I was little and my dad took me to Lowe's, he would take a really long time so I'd go and look at the light bulbs because of the different shapes.Sstavix wrote:You mean like neon lights? Or something else?Emwok wrote: Weird shaped light bulbs?
Neon lights are pretty cool. Pretty much an art form in themselves.
Would you believe I've never played one of them? The closest I've played was a game called Final Fantasy Legends II for the GameBoy, which I've since learned was never a real FF game, but a Japanese import that they just slapped the Final Fantasy name on to try and improve sales. I never did finish that game - I got to a point where the boss was a dirty, rotten cheat, and I couldn't get any farther.Emwok wrote: The Final Fantasy series?
It is, but they blend a surprising amount of fantasy in. The world and mechanics are sci-fi, but the story and atmosphere has a delicate flavor of fantasy. "Warlock" though, is just a class title; they're devoted to thinking and exploration of metaphysics. Also, shooting fireballs, hanging in mid-air with fiery wings, and reviving from the dead in a fiery swirl.Sstavix wrote:I thought Destiny was a sci-fi game....
I loved that game, and don't know anyone else that has played it. Borrowed it, but never beat it. I spent a few years trying to track down a copy in easy reach. Good times.Sstavix wrote:The closest I've played was a game called Final Fantasy Legends II for the GameBoy

"You call it a demon?" he sniffed indignantly. "I call it my undead netherworld assistant."
I haven't seen it yet. Has it been released yet? In any case, I'm curious to see how it'll work with the old gang back together....Chozon1 wrote: What are your thoughts on the new Star Wars?
I hadn't played one until a couple of years ago when I bought FFIII for DS, but I haven't finished it yet because it's hard and confusing. I've heard the newer ones are good, but I haven't played any of them yet.Sstavix wrote:Would you believe I've never played one of them? Let me see... hmm... nope. I have no thoughts about the Black Mesa Source mod. What is it?Emwok wrote: Thoughts on the Black Mesa Source mod?
