Horror games are weird,
I like something about them, but I don't like them.
Oh, I think I know what it is now,
I must like the mystery (If it has any) and having something make me jump,
but the horror/fear part is... well... not fun. :problem:
Be part of the answer, not part of the problem.

Metroid: Fusion.

I view this as somewhat the spiritual successor to Super Metroid. It's (chronologically) the next game in the series, and it also, I think, preserves a somewhat 'Super Metroid' feel to it. Not perfect, but good. Zero Mission was actually pretty darn awesome in this respect as well. At least until they jumped the shark and stretched the ending out by another 2 hours.

Point is, this is a really awesome game. I like the redesigned Samus and I like the fact they didn't go totally traditional with the weapons and equipment choices given. Plus, instead of failingly attempting to get back the feeling of isolation lost from the original, they switched it up to a feeling of being hunted. Which is crazy awesome given Samus is a bounty hunter and doesn't expect it.

So no complaints. I wish they'd release another 2D Metroid that continued the series (the Prime series actually takes place before the OG Metroid, I think, followed by Return of Samus, then Super, then Fusion. I might be wrong though).

Alan Wake.

Dear me, I don't think I've ever played a game as engaging as this. Meant to just try it out, play for a bit, then move on. 6 hours later...I forced myself to stop because it was 2 AM. Wow.

So intense, and so amazing.

Warlock - Masters of the Arcane is pretty fun so far. Enjoying it.

I'm also playing some Super Mario World, while I wait for my new rental to arrive (Back to the Future).

Got past the Intro on FF IV, have to see the battle system. From what I saw so far it may be too slow for my tastes..if so, I may play this one retro.

Metroid: Zero Mission.

It's sort of a cross between Metroid and Super Metroid. It still carries the mission element from Fusion, and thus is somewhat linear. Thankfully, it doesn't really feel like it is. They've also speeded up Samus's run speed like the OG Metroid, which is actually kind of funny looking.

Only complaint is the fact they stretched out the ending by about an hour too long. Literally, they added an extra sequence which takes an hour or two to complete. It would've been a short game otherwise, yeah, but still. XD

Diablo 3 - almost at the guest pass limit. Other than numbing my hand, it's fun!

I have many fond memories of playing Zero Mission. Awesome game.

I personally liked the ending mission. It was... unique I guess. Didn't see it coming. :)

Minecraft (360 demo)

I love the game more as I play it more. I dug down beneath a random pond about 6 blocks and hollowed out a side tunnel to live in. If I had more than the demo, I'd create an entire flooded city of sorts, using water tunnels as transportation.

'Course, it's easy to get killed and I'd need a lot of light rock. WANT FULL GAME TO MAKE MY VISION COME TO PASS. I got killed by a skeleton or I would've gone more than one level.

Edit: Heh. Using the same method as described above (periodically throwing a brick over my head to stop the water and allow me to breath), I managed to get down to a zombie laden lava flow. Trapped the zombies (I, uh...may have forgotten to create a sword) under some water in a tiny box. Found obsidian, iron, lapis, redstone and coal. ^_^ It was awesome. Couldn't do a blasted thing with the obsidian, though I spent 3 minutes cracking open one piece (to no avail). Built about three small rooms myself (leaving torches in each of them) and discovered two pretty large cave systems. If I hadn't been terrified of getting killed by a Creeper, I'dve explored the larger cave more.

Then the demo ran out and I realized all the effort was wasted. -_- Oh, that my birthday would come sooner. XD

Diablo III.

Was doing just fine until I met a nasty error. Or three. All related to Battle.net. Failure, Blizzard; failure. XD

Eve Online.

Got a(nother) 14 day trial for this. They've vastly improved this game since the last time I tried it (2007, IIRC). O_o

The interface makes some sense now! And they've improved the tutorial and graphics! And best of all, the Eve API project makes offline skill management amazing!

I'm seriously considering getting this for my summer hobby. It's just so amazing. Also addictive. Hunting down cosmic anomalies is more fun than it sounds. The only "Weak" part is the ship control and combat. Both feel so...disconnected from the experience. But It's not a problem, I just find it odd for a space game. XD
