That could be fun!

"Luke, forsooth, I am thy father!"

"No! It cannot be! Never have I conceived of such a notion! My heart is wroth with pain, for while I deny it to the heavens, I know thy words be true!"
Someone has actually adapted Star Wars into the style of Shakespeare, starting with "Verily, a New Hope". I thought it was pretty funny when I found it in Barnes and Nobles.

Are the bestest! Sadly, since I'm the only one in my household that can have peanuts, I can't have them very often. :(

I thoroughly enjoyed the first one, even if I never got good enough to unlock Luigi. Sadly, I've never played the sequel.

I managed to make it to the 6th circle, and finally got tired of the archaic language and missed references.

The book guide was no help either, as instead of being a nice concordance or simple explanation of characters, it was a 3rd person commentator giving his views and thoughts on the poem and subject matter without really explaining anything.

Which, of course, made me want to launch into a rant. -_-

Yes, that doesn't help at all. Instead of simply presenting the information, it was trying to lead the reader into agreeing with the analysts' own conclusions. It's fine if you want to read another's opinion on the subject, but don't try to masquerade it as a study guide....

You know me by now. Sometimes I launch into a rant completely unrelated to the topic at hand....

Me: "... and that's five reasons why cats should have more rights than dogs! Does that answer your question?"

Someone else: "Erm... we were discussing what kinds of economic sanctions Iran should get."

I think I'd make a good politician. "Good" being subjective, of course....

As much as I loved the first one, I thought the second one was much better. They kept enough of the old stuff that it wasn't unfamiliar, but they added some really cool new stuff as well (mostly powerups). If you get the chance, you should grab the second one.

I like Mike & Ike. :) I also like a couple of their "cousins," Jolly Joes and Hot Tamales. Oddly enough, though, of the actual Mike & Ikes, I only like the original. The different variations on that (e.g. Tropical) I am not fond of at all. I'm that way with Skittles and Starbursts, too.

Why is it I have no trouble finishing action based games, but most RPG's I tend to peter out on?

I make it to close to the end, then just sort of wander off. O_o

I think it has something to do with the longevity. It can take a lot of devotion and energy to make it all the way to the end of an RPG. Sometimes, though, it could be the developer's fault. They start out with a good story, run out of ideas and put in a grind-fest / excuse plot until the players get their characters high enough level to take on the final boss. It's typically the second stage where most players lose interest in the game and wander off to find new things to do.

At least that's my excuse for not finishing more RPGs. ;)

I usually manage to make it to the last boss, then just put it down and walk away. I can't count how many times I've gone through Final Fantasy 4, but never beaten it. XD

That's not really a problem in our house. The kids - especially my son - love scarfing down watermelon. Seems like they just can't get enough!

That's especially good since I'm not really fond of it, myself.... They can eat it!

Now cantaloupe on the other hand....
