Yeah, the game is pretty sweet. The next one is coming out in... January? It looks almost as good as MW2.
?

Yeah. He sleeps a lot. I'm kinda worried, but I normally am when it comes to new pets. Or at least I see him sleeping a lot. I'm generally asleep when he would be most active, I guess.
Is sleeping to much a bad thing for him? He's usually curled up on the hot side.

Chozon, you do know snakes are cold-blooded creatures, right?
They kinda need heat to survive. XD
Season 2 of Buffy was pretty fantabulous?

Technically, their blood is the same heat as the temperature they are at. At around 85 degrees, I'm not sure I'd call Jayne cold blooded.

But yes, I knew. I just want to make sure he's OK.

It does look good, yeah. Honestly... I'm an RPG guy, so it takes a heck of a good shooter to perk my interest in that genre. XD
It does look good though. ^_o

Nah, sleep shouldn't hurt them at all. If he's not active whatsoever, it's probably because it's too warm (too high temps cause snakes to be less active, in my experience) or it could be he's going blue. Did the breeder mention the last time he shed?
My corn will not wake up/move for a good solid week when he's blue. Actually, no snake does from what I can tell. XD
Also, if he's in shedding mode (look for a glazed over belly, dulling colors, and the dead giveaway of blue eyes), I highly recommend not touching him 'till he sheds. It tends to stress snakes out when they're handled when blue, as their senses are completely dulled.
Then again, corns are usually active in the middle of the night. So you could just be missing him. XD

It is. And season 3 blows it away in terms of awesomeness. It is probably mah fav.

His eyes are cherry red and clear, but I forgot to ask the breeder when his last shed was. The temp in his cage is at 85 , but I'll see if I can lower it a few degrees. It drops to 79-80 at night, though. ^_^ When I've handle him, he hasn't been sluggish or limp or such. Is it possible I've just got a sleepy snake?

Yeah, it's possible. I think he's probably just shy, and doesn't come out much 'till you're asleep or not in the room. That's how king was when I first got him. He'd be out, I'd walk in on him (he's a "day" snake) and he's dart back into his hide in a blink of an eye. XD
For new snakes it pretty normal not to see them out and about much. So I wouldn't worry.

lulz, I've done that. Vacate mah own room to let the snakes get out. XD
Remember though, he's nocturnal. Mah corn is usually awake around 10/11 till early in the morning.
Cheese FTW.

Just as well. I had to use my computer to look up a bunch of junk.
I'ma kill the lights later, though. Watch some TV or sleep on the couch for awhile or something.
Sears?

Ah, gotcha.
And... don't shop there a lot. Pretty decent store though. I remember I got my first knife there years back.

I think you're right about the shyness. I killed all but the night lamp over his cage, then shut the door. When I came back some hours later, he was happily slithering around his cage. ^_^
PS2?

lulz, yeah. Typical with new snakes. XD
aaaaaaand
<3 the PS2. It's got sooooo many RPG's (mah favorite thing in gaming, both western and especially JRPG's) which is a huge draw to me. Not to mention games like RE4 (which is also on GC, I know) and the God of War series.
So many good memories on that system. I recently sold mine to my bro (needed money for snake stuffz; as I said, snakes > games XD), so I'll have to buy one again down the road... which I'm sure I'll do. XD
So yeah.
Out of all the "last gen" systems... it goes PS2 > GC > Xbox. >_<

Dude, don't be hatin' on mah box. >_< Actually, I want to try out the Ratchet and Clank games, and the original Half Life.
Though the Box has Half Life 2. XD
How do corn snakes feel about water?

pfft, I'm not hating on it. I loved mah original xbox.
I just liked the PS2 and GC moar.
And yesh, Ratchet and Clank.
Also... depends on the snake, really. My first corn HATED getting sprayed with water (which you do when they're in shedding mode; you mist them, I think I told you), and I rarely saw her soak in her dish. The corn in the pics I posted? Um... he's funny. He likes getting misted. A lot. I'll mist him and he'll start drinking the mist off the sides of the cage/stuff in the cage/sometimes his own body. He does, though, hate getting soaked in water... always rushes out. XD
Now, if you ask about the boa... lulz. That girl should have been a crocodile. I'll fill our sink with water (it's a double sink, thankfully... or else she'd not have a chance of fitting in it XD), and she'll just go in it and sink to the bottom. With just her nostrils sticking out. She loves water. XD
Not sure 'bout king yet, haven't had him long enough. >_<
So... that answer your question? Probably not. XD
It really depends on the snake, as I said. Some love it some hate it (though they all drink it and love it in that way).
Why you ask? Your guy soaking in his dish?
