I lived in Mobile, Alabama until I was 12 and, as far as I know, Krispy Kreme is the only donut shop in the whole city. I hadn't had donuts from another place until we moved to Texas. Still haven't tried Dunkin' Donuts yet.

I can't say that I've ever done this. Even so, it sounds like one of those good mistakes to make. Anyone who is anyone knows that Ubuntu is a superior OS over Windows.

Sometimes. But at the same time, you have to let some friendships die. That doesn't mean that you shouldn't help them if they come to you looking for help. But if the disagreement is one in which you're asked to compromise your principles, it might be best to walk away. I've had to do that a few times in my life, and while I sometimes wonder "what if..." I typically don't go looking to renew those links.

Depends on what you did wrong. If this is a friendship that you truly value, then apologize for what you've done. If they are a true friend, they will accept your apology and take you bank. If they don't... well, perhaps it's time to seek greener pastures elsewhere, because they don't really value your friendship.
