I lived in Mobile, Alabama until I was 12 and, as far as I know, Krispy Kreme is the only donut shop in the whole city. I hadn't had donuts from another place until we moved to Texas. Still haven't tried Dunkin' Donuts yet.
Should everybody have a water buffalo?
Go ask the lizard-guy something....

No, of course not! We'll get posts saying "where's my water buffalo! Why don't I have a water buffalo?" Are you prepared to deal with that? I don't think so! Stop being so silly!Emwok wrote: Should everybody have a water buffalo?

Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis.
That's a great and entertaining example of adventure games done right, in my opinion.

Only people who aren't from the south hate on Krispy Kream. Which is sad, but acceptable.
Or people who're from the south, but want to pretend to be Yankees. And no one cares what they think. >_> So sayeth I.
Age of Ultron?

Why would anyone hate Krispy Kreme? I'm not saying it's the best doughnut shop around, but it's adequate.Chozon1 wrote:Only people who aren't from the south hate on Krispy Kream. Which is sad, but acceptable.
That's almost as bad as northerners who try to be from the south.Chozon1 wrote:Or people who're from the south, but want to pretend to be Yankees. And no one cares what they think. >_> So sayeth I.
Someone: How y'all doin'?
Me: Dude... you're from Seattle and haven't been any further south than Portland. Stop it.
I haven't seen it yet, but it looks good! I'm curious to see how Quicksilver is depicted in the film.Chozon1 wrote:Age of Ultron?

I'm actually OK with people who try to pretend to be from the south...as long as they do it in the North.

They don't go anywhere, they just go into reruns. Or DVD. Or Netflix.Chozon1 wrote: When all the good TV shows are gone?
Besides, if you've seen them all, there's always games to play!

Yeah, but it's a lot easier to get my family to sit down and watch a TV show than play a game. Still, I do love reruns. Giligan's Island is being run through the summer on a local channel here. <3

I can't say that I've ever done this. Even so, it sounds like one of those good mistakes to make. Anyone who is anyone knows that Ubuntu is a superior OS over Windows.Chozon1 wrote: Accidentally making Ubuntu permanently installed over Windows?

Have you every had a real big friendship problem with someone, and you wondered if you were going to get your friend back?

Sometimes. But at the same time, you have to let some friendships die. That doesn't mean that you shouldn't help them if they come to you looking for help. But if the disagreement is one in which you're asked to compromise your principles, it might be best to walk away. I've had to do that a few times in my life, and while I sometimes wonder "what if..." I typically don't go looking to renew those links.CRCBrony wrote:Have you every had a real big friendship problem with someone, and you wondered if you were going to get your friend back?

Depends on what you did wrong. If this is a friendship that you truly value, then apologize for what you've done. If they are a true friend, they will accept your apology and take you bank. If they don't... well, perhaps it's time to seek greener pastures elsewhere, because they don't really value your friendship.
