I only have limited experience, but I would have to say Victoria, B.C. My wife and I spent our honeymoon there. In addition to good memories, they have some of the best fish and chips I've ever had in my life. We bought them from a little shack down at the docks, and they cooked up fish that had been caught earlier that day. Fantastic. There's so much to do and see that we didn't manage to get it all in before we had to leave.ScotchRobbins wrote:Best vacation spot unquestionably?

Mmm...tofu. Nothing tastes like hormones.
I think I've just about decided to give up eating entirely.
Skeletoes?

I remember a monster from D&D called Crawling Claws - basically zombie hands which are created by necromancers to go out and kill. If skeletoes are the same thing, only with feet, those would be just as horrific. No, they may not be able to strangle you, but they can kick your patootie!Chozon1 wrote: Skeletoes?
And yes, I used them often against my players. I often tried to play to my players' (not their characters') fears. Hence the zombie flying monkey clown dentists....

Skeletoes are very awesome shoes. Essentially, a modern redesign of the classic tabi boots. I'm lazy, so just, uh...Google it. >_>

Oh, is that what those are? I saw someone wearing a pair once. I thought they looked cool. Kinda like footwear for super-heroes.Chozon1 wrote:Skeletoes are very awesome shoes. Essentially, a modern redesign of the classic tabi boots. I'm lazy, so just, uh...Google it. >_>

I suppose... I prefer mine heavy on the B, light on the L and hold the T though.Chozon1 wrote:BLT's?
Since I'm not a sports fan, I don't know too much about the story, actually. So I'm not one to really say one way or the other.ScotchRobbins wrote:Manti Te'o and his fake girlfriend?
Here, let me ask my buddy Norm here. He tends to watch a lot of sports on TV. Then again, when you're a seven-foot-tall sloth-man, what else are you going to do when you're hanging around the house all day? There's not much call for penguin herders in this neck of Idaho....

My first impulse would be to say transporter technology. The ability to teleport from one place to another would be a tremendous way to save time and energy. Even if it were as simple as something like the Portal gun - say to get across campus or town - it would help a lot.ScotchRobbins wrote:Piece of theoretical Sci-Fi technology or Fantasy tool (do you have a better word) that we need RITE NAO?
But upon reflection, I started to think about all the techology we've got right now - such as fuel cell cars, LED light bulbs, unused hydroelectric dams, nuclear power plants, prosthetic "cybernetic limbs", and even a new process that could cure most forms of cancer practically as an outpatient procedure - it seems to me what we need is some sort of chemical, maybe a powder or a gas, that would affect people consuming the substance with a huge dosage of Common Sense. Think of how much we really could accomplish if people would actually use their brains and do things that made sense. We could dump a ton of it into the water supply around Washington, D.C., and reshape government overnight.

You claim to be a Christian, and yet you don't like tomatoes on your bacon sandwiches. How do you reconcile your faith with such blasphemy?

A vegan atheist walks into a bar. Bartender says "Hey, are you a vegan atheist? Just kidding, you've mentioned it like eight times already."

I'm not a shoe fan either. I tend to wear my birthday shoes. But the Skeletoes are actually very like wearing nothing at all (as are tabi boots, which are basically glorified socks.
), so I like them.

As for the second part of the question, I don't eat bacon sandwiches usually.

Oh, wait... you said candles, not candies. Let me scrape this wax off my tongue....
I like candles, especially scented ones. Especially ones scented like vanilla or something tasty - like apple pie or cinnamon rolls. Hmm... I wonder if they make bacon candles? Probably.
