This game has some dirty painful parts on Veteran.

On one hand, I appreciate the realism. In real life, you do not take a shotty to the face, hide behind a crate, and stand up perfectly fine a few seconds later. On the other hand, turning a corner and getting shottied to the face for the 20th time in a row is frustrating. XD

Still getting my 100% completed perfect game thing. It's fun, but it kinda sucks doing it for the second time. :P

Ah racing Sims. They never cease to entertain. This is more technical than I'd expected though. You can adjust all manner of engine specs along with replacing parts to get your car exactly how you like it. Crazy fun. Plus, you can generally rebuild entirely your car, of which you can choose around 300. Which is dizzying, to be honest...I prefer getting one nice car and souping it up.

So I was being chased by a helicopter and repeatedly mowed down. So I decided to wait behind cover until I got a clear shot, and take out the gunner. This I did with expert precision with nothing but an assault rifle, and raised my fist into the air in joy and defiance. Having wittily outsmarted the idiotic chopper and it's crew, I proceeded to take my time reaching my goal. And then, as I slowly walked and gloated toward my destination (an old barn), I got violently gunned down by another crew member manning the gun.

...

Mass Effect 3 demo

My impressions is that its very wicked. There were a few problems but I just hope they fix them in the full release.

I really hope to play some co-op of it, that should be exciting.

GRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGHGH. *choke*

The final level on Veteran is...so hard. I'm playing through it again for the achievements (40 for beating a level on Veteran+ 90 for completing the game) but also because I enjoyed this game far more than I thought I would. It's pretty amazing.

But
Spoiler:
The final levels inside the silo are bonkers. O_O I've tried to get the control room 50 times without success. I've got the first portion crossing the big room nailed, but I always get splattered at the part after that when you have to get through the narrow hallway. The checkpoints are so far apart here. I'ma try a different path, I 'spose. I keep trying to go down the right hallways. I'ma go left next time. See how that goes.
