Indie game developer and publisher One Life Games is proud to announce the worldwide release of Berserker 2: The saga of Hilde now available on PC exclusively via STEAM™. A continuation of Berserker, previously released in 2021, Berserker 2 continues the epic journey of Asbjorn, the Viking berserker, as he battles through treacherous landscapes and engages in intense combat to rescue his kidnapped daughter, Hilde. Offering a brutal side-scrolling action game blending cinematic storytelling, intense melee combat, and a haunting Nordic world torn by myth, sorrow, and violence, Berserker 2 will challenge even the bravest of warriors!



Berserker 2: The saga of Hilde begins in the coastal settlement of Kaupang and gradually expands into a larger conflict involving Draugr and giants. You play the protagonists Asbjorn, a warrior seeking his missing child, and the Volva Gerd, a mystic with connections to the supernatural. Each character offers different approaches to combat, and navigation - and beautifully blends side-scrolling combat with light exploration and compelling story sequences. While the game retains a 2D perspective, all environments are built in 3D with a fixed camera system.

Berserker 2: The saga of Hilde includes scorched villages and crumbling temples, a dangerous world steeped in decay and forgotten faith. Every step forward uncovers more of the past - and the cost of revenge. Driven by the loss of his wife and the abduction of his child, Asbjorn must master brutal melee mechanics and battle foes that demand precision and aggression to prevail. Take advantage of the magical skills of the Volva Gerd on your joint journey through foggy, treacherous landscapes haunted by spirits, warriors, and memories. And look out for a mysterious Croatian wanderer named Balking adding a strange blend of humor and dissonance along the way.

Berserker 2: The saga of Hilde offers a short, focused gameplay experience designed to be completed in one sitting, emphasizing atmosphere, symbolism, and reflection over length. It does not aim to give easy answers, instead, it invites players to question grief, purpose, and the cost of revenge in a world where gods no longer remain silent.
