Today, TREBUCHET dropped the ‘Stitchin Rich’ DLC for Prison Boss Prohibition – the sequel to cult hit Prison Boss VR – the DLC is out now on Quest and SteamVR!

‘Stitchin Rich’ introduces a brand new district, The Public Place, owned by the Mayor of New Yolk City - a cheerful square, ripe for your illicit activities. Set up an illegal tailor's shop, earn the respect of a new faction, unlock new crafting capabilities, cosmetics, furniture and resources.

About the DLC

Welcome to The Public Place, a charming new district where the mayor’s statue watches over the city like he owns it… because he does, for now.

Set up shop under the fountain’s shadow and meet the Egg White Collars: a new faction of civil servants with threadbare suits, broken dreams, and very questionable taste. They may not be powerful, but they sure are picky.

Use new tools like felting needles and embroidery hoops to stitch, felt, and embroider your way through brand-new recipes. Work with leather, wool, linen and dye to craft everything from cozy sweaters to lumpy teddy bears, leather vests to slightly lopsided hats. It’s clumsy, it’s crafty, it’s chaos.

Become the boss of New Yolk’s least fashionable workforce one crooked stitch at a time.

🧵 A brand-new district: The Public Place. A cheerful square with big buildings, small ambitions, and a very shiny statue of the Mayor. Set up your illegal tailor’s workshop right in the open, because nothing hides guilt like good lighting.

🧶 New crafts: Stitch, felt, embroider and assemble with tools like felting needles and embroidery hoops. Use leather, wool, linen and dyes to create teddy bears, boots, sweaters, vests, fancy shirts, hats, and more.

🧑‍💼 New faction & leverage tree: The Egg White Collars: Clumsy government employees with no real power. Earn their awkward respect to unlock cosmetics, furniture, and new crafting resources.

About the Game

Prison Boss Prohibition is a crafting and simulation VR game about growing your own black market empire. Run a chain of stalls crafting a huge catalogue of legal and not-quite-legal merchandise for the citizens of New Yolk City – roll cigarettes, brew booze, tailor suits, write stirring manifestos, and much much more! Stay out of sight of patrolling cops or risk losing all your precious contraband. Rope in a friend or pick up a stranger from the streets (of the internet) to become your partner in crime!

Accept special jobs to boost your reputation among different factions in the city. Build up street cred and expand your catalogue of contraband. Spend money on upgrades and equipment, and improve your appearance, until you’re the richest, meanest, coolest cock-a-doodle-dude in town!

The soundtrack is brought to life by Side Mtl (previously Vibe Avenue).

From Ray Charles to Herbie Hancock, from Motown to disco, the music of PBP is a journey through some of the most iconic sounds through the ages. For a sneaky chicken, trying to make ends meet in New-Yolk City, jazz fusion felt like the perfect avenue to explore. As you play through the game, our bespoke dynamic groove system sees the song's tempo pick up pace to match the increased difficulty, creating a more immersive experience for players. But it's not just clever tech; the songs are rich with the performances of Montreal's top jazz performers, Remi Cormier, Emile Farley, and Alex Francoeur, bringing the songwriting from Félix Le Blanc to life. Creative Director Francois Xavier Depas lends his hand to the rare appearance of harmonicas in jazz. He is also credited with the architecture behind the interactive music system, which sees the music respond to the game and the player. Prison Boss Prohibition offers an authentic live band experience as one determined chicken tries to make ends meet on the streets of New Yolk City.
