NAGOYA, Japan – August 20th, 2025 – Travelling all the way from Japan, FREE STYLE, Inc. is excited to share that they will be in attendance at PAX West 2025, this August 29th - September 1st, 2025. Visitors can try out OBAKEIDORO 2: Chase & Seek, showcasing for the first time in the West, and walk away with exciting game-branded swag.

Spooky but Safe!

OBAKEIDORO 2 is a family-friendly, asymmetric, multiplayer chase-and-capture game. With all the heart pumping thrills of popular asymmetric games like Dead by Daylight and none of the horror or gore, OBAKEIDORO 2’s spooky, chibi aesthetic is for players of all ages. The game follows the same rules as the original OBAKEIDORO! (Bail or Jail on Steam) with three minute matches and simple controls. Players play on either the Human team (3 or 6 players) or the Monster team (1 or 2 players), with up to 8 players online. Evade capture as a Human to ensure your team’s triumph, or capture all Humans before the time runs out to secure victory as the Monster. Each Monster character offers unique traits and skills that can be used to develop a winning strategy!

FREE STYLE Inc. will be showcasing an exclusive global preview of the game at PAX West in the Arch Building, Level 4, at Booth #638. Play with other attendees or test your ability with a team of CPUs. Visitors of the booth can receive an OBAKEIDORO 2 hand fan made exclusively for the event, as well as postcards for following the game on X and trying the demo! Limited supply available each day!

During the last hour of each day (5pm - 6pm PT), players can join in on ‘Players vs Director’ matches and compete against Game Director Katsu Tanaka for special prizes. Human teams that can evade Director Katsu Tanaka’s clutches, can earn rewards like customized t-shirts, keychains, button sets, acrylic dioramas, and pass holders! These matches will continue throughout the weekend until all prizes are gone.
