Ratatan Early Access Release Date Officially Announced!

World 3 & New Ratatans Revealed

14th August, 2025: Ratata Arts is excited to announce that the rhythm roguelike action game Ratatan will launch in Early Access on Friday, 19th September, 2025, beginning at 12:00 a.m. JST / 3:00 p.m. UTC / 8:00 a.m. PDT.

The announcement was made as a surprise during an exclusive Ratatan Play Session held on August 7 in Tokyo. The event brought together members of the Japanese press and streamers, who enjoyed hands-on time with the latest build, a talk session with the development team, one-on-one interviews, and even a live DJ set featuring new tracks from the game — creating a lively and memorable atmosphere.

Newly Revealed Content

World 3: Jam Jammer Jungle Journey
A dense jungle where the ruins of ancient drums lie hidden. Swamps and fierce wildlife stand in the way, while deep within, the priestess Tolja So prepares a dark ritual to resurrect an evil god.

World 4: Frozen Flower Fantasia
A garden of eternal spring… or so it seems. Now completely frozen over, this frigid domain is ruled by the icy Glaciera and her loyal followers.

New Ratatans
Several previously unrevealed Ratatans made their debut during the event. New weapon types — including staves, bombs, scythes, and hammers — will add greater variety to the battlefield.
