Btw I have an app on my Android phone called Boardwalk. It lets me play the any recent versions of Minecraft on my Z987 phone. Is that allowed? And which version of Minecraft?

This server only works with the PC version of Minecraft as far as I'm aware mobile versions won't work, I'll whitelist you regardless.

That's what the boardwalk app is for. It lets you run PC Minecraft on Android. It lags some, but with a good enough phone, it will run. And since I only need to run the client for multiplayer, instead of the client and server for singleplayer, it runs ok

Haha, doesn't run as good as I thought it would. I used it on a creative server that was super flat, but I might have over estimated it based on the other server.
