The intention of this thread is for anyone who finds a mod that removes blood, gore, language, and immodesty can post the link so that people can find it. I DID NOT CREATE ANY OF THESE MODS. I'm simply trying to get as many as can be found in one place so that they can be found easily, instead of venturing into the deepest, darkest forums of the internet. If anyone finds another mod along these lines, please post it here.

I am fairly new to all of this but as a Christian parent of kids who are beginning to show interest in games like minecraft I appreciate the work that people put into creating a safe place for kids to play. Thank you and God bless you!

@all I had a question that I wanted to get some feedback on. I'm making a modesty mod for League of Legends currently. To be honest I don't play it much, usually a single round every handful of months, but I have friends who play it and I enjoy the challenge of trying to make mods. Would this mod be of any use to you guys in the community here? I'm just about to hit a beta stage and am looking for a very small number of beta testers for feedback. Please give me your feedback if you think you would use the mod. If you would like to help me do some testing, please send me a personal message. Thanks

@General_Redfox I would be interested in testing out the mod. I play quite a bit of LoL and it does need a mod for it. The issue is, due to it being a MOBA (MP Online Battle Arena) I'm don't know if it's possible to mod it. I hope I'm wrong though, because it needs a modesty mod very badly.
Also does anyone know how to mod The Witcher 2? It has a lot of nudity and blood but there isn't an existing mod to remove it as far as I know.

@ TDog9631. That sounds great. The mod is actually quite possible. I've done some personal testing and gotten it to work. The only thing that I haven't figured out how to changes is the login screen and the store front. Those things seem to be pulled dynamically from their server or else I haven't found where the assets for those are in Riot's proprietary archive file type. There have been some people who have created some tools that allow you to mod the assets for the game. Check out Skin Installer Ultimate https://sites.google.com/site/siuupdates/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;. It allows you to install your own skins. Note: only you see the skins. No one else sees them.
I'll need to update a few things so it's ready to be downloaded. I'm new on the site so I'm not able to send personal messages yet. Do you know what allows people to have the ability send messages? When I try to compose one it tells me I don't have the authority to because I'm new or haven't participated enough yet. Is it a certain number of posts or a time frame to wait out? try sending me a message and if I can respond I'll send you a dropbox link with the mod as soon as I have everything updated. I don't want to post a link publicly because I need people who are willing to give me good feedback before I release it publicly.

You need a certain amount of posts before you can use the PM feature. Though off hand, I cannot tell you the exact number.
For myself, I would find a LoL mod to be very useful. Does it change the wait screen for when you're entering a match?

@Chozon1 yes. I've been able to have edited load screens, which is what I found the most suggestive. The in game character models have been edited as well. When you check out a character's stats, the splash screen has been fixed. I've also fixed the pictures for when you select a character skin.
Thanks I'll start making a bunch of posts so I can start sending messages.

Just curious, I understand the motivation behind this, but have there been studies that show that removing blood/gore from a violent game makes a psychological difference? I mean, if you kill a guy in a game like Skyrim it's still murder.

This is a very good question that I will have to research.Wilpanzer wrote:Just curious, I understand the motivation behind this, but have there been studies that show that removing blood/gore from a violent game makes a psychological difference? Well I wouldn't attempt to mod it yet anyway, seeing as they announced they're going to rework the entire launcher from adobe Air to their own format that is based on HTML5 I believe. The only thing that I haven't figured out how to changes is the login screen and the store front.
