Scooched this over to the TV forum, where it belongs.

As for myself, I dislike it rather intensely. I enjoyed the first few seasons of the reboot, but then dropped it like the plague. :P I love the original Tom Baker ones, though.

Pay no attention to the blasphemer, he hasn't watched any of the newer stuff. I doubt he's even seen a single Matt Smith episode. :P

It's an incredible show. The reboot is way better than the original (As much as Tom Baker is kewl; cheesy and campy < intelligently funny, semi-serious and cool), and the writing has been nothing short of fantastic these last two seasons. Steven Moffat has been on a roll with Doctor Who and his other awesome BBC series, Sherlock.

As for favorite episode...I can't choose just one, bro. "Blink", "The Silence in the Library (Parts 1 and 2)", "The Impossible Astronaut (And Day of the Moon)", "The Girl who Waited"...too many good ones. o_o

I, also, really really like the reboot. Matt Smith does a really good job, but I'd have to say #10 is my favorite, still. Not saying I don't like the classics, like Pertwee and Baker.

The Silence in the Library was a really good set. It's the first ones my wife saw and it got her into Doctor Who.
Season 2's finale was done pretty well, imo.

Ohhhhhh child. Since when have you ever known me to reject a Sci-Fi without giving it a shot? :P

Home repair shows, yes. Reality TV, surely. But Sci-Fi? I was probably watching the show before you.

Chozon1 is a Doctor Who hipster.
He's liked it before it was cool, and you probably never heard of his favorite Doctors.

Eww. No. No. Never. I use Windows and drink RC. I meant 'I probably watched the reboot before Deep', since we pretty much caught it the first week it came on. Only ye olde Doc I can name is Tom Baker, and that's just because he was also in the Chronicles of Narnia.

I should clarify: Newer referring to Matt Smith and beyond. Not the reboot in general. I'm not that stupid. XD

You know, it's not a bad thing to be hipster about particular items; just don't be a hipster in general.

And RC would totally be a hipster drink. It's like the PBR of soda.

Deep, the Tennant episodes are awesome.

Actually, Tennant was my favorite Doctor of the reboot. I just dislike the series in general. I did watch several Matt Smith episodes, and perhaps an entire season with him in it. Mind is fuzzy at the moment, but I did give him a fair chance, and in my not really worth that much opinion, if you had to replace Tennant, you probably couldn't do better than Matt Smith. ^_^

I just think it's lame.

Also...hipsters are my mortal enemy.

Well, I'm sorry to say, but the verdict is in and you're hipstering all over this Doctor Who thread.
