I loved the Megaman Battle Network Series!
I also liked the Megaman Zero games,
and the classic megaman games,
and Megaman Legends.
Megaman X is cool to, but I only played the first one.
Oh, and I do have Megaman Star Force 3,
but I am guessing that won't work with Star Force two will it?
I just wish Capcom would make another Megaman game.

Megaman ZX is rather fun. Similar to the old X games..more like if you meshed an X game with a Metroid game. Good stuff.

Far as the first goes (I've yet to play Advent) they don't really give a continuous story line...X and Zero aren't even really in it as more than disembodied force metals.

Second, these aren't random posts. I heard people talking about MegaMan, so I gave the link to a video on YouTube of a most likely upcoming game known as Rockman (that's his REAL name) Online. So I get what you're saying, but the URL is right there when I'm typing. Open new tab > Go to video > copy URL > paste it here. If that doesn't suit people, why did they put it there?
