@smisaac. Sorry none of these mods are the the PS4. Both the PS4 and Xbox platforms are closed platforms. You may find some things for console, but it's very doubtful. I've never seen anything beyond editing save games and I've spent many hours searching the web. All of these mods are for PC. I've found it to be the most functional platform to invest in for life, gaming, and especially mods like the ones we're gathering and creating. Thanks for asking though.

Thanks for posting about this as I didn't know there were mods that cut out the language in Fallout New Vegas. I'll have to add that to the list of mods I'm running.

If anyone runs across a profanity filter for the Assassin's Creed games, or Hitman: Absolution, Id love to hear about it. I would love to be able to play them without unnecessary cursing.

Some time in the past someone was working on it. I'm not sure who, but they reached out to the guys on gamesoap.net The gamesoap guys posted news about it on the front page if you want to have a look. They have some resources listed, but it seems like some of the links have expired or the sources they lead to have been removed. Give it a look. Perhaps it might help you get your start in modding! :D It's a really rewarding feeling. I haven't looked at the modding side and haven't played the games so I'm not a good source of advice for modding it.

I'm not sure about Hitman absolution. I've never seen any tools for it. It was on a humble bundle a bit ago, but since I didn't see any tools for it I didn't worry about it. I have too many other unfinished projects! ha ha Deus Ex Human revolution was on that bundle too and I have been disappointed that one has not had any mod tools or archive unpackers/repackers made. It would have been a fun game. I enjoyed the first one with a modesty mod. It should be listed in the first post of this thread.

Best of Luck

Yeah, that was the Square Enix 2 Bundle. I actually bought that one, thats how I got Hitman: Absolution.
Starting to make mods actually hadnt occurred to me before you said that, but now it seems like a very intriguing idea :)
I have no idea how to even attempt to get started though.

Check to see if they have modding tools. Generally most games will have some kind of proprietary archive file type like a .pak that you'll have to unpack, do editing to specific files and then repack them to use them. Other games, like Halo 1, I had to use their tools to unpack their map types. Sometimes games will have assets that are always used. Halo had assets assigned to each level/map so I have had to edit a lot of the same files on each level/map. Best of luck. Have a look on moddb.com. They might have some tutorials to get you started. A lot of it is trail and error. Good luck! :D

Hey Guys I got another one. The Neverwinter Nights series you can turn off the gore under the game options. I'm also making a Modesty mod for it. Would that be something any of you would use?

Hey guys. I'm still working on the Neverwinter Nights modesty mod. In the meantime though I have two new mods that i created for everyone to enjoy. They're for two of the three Stalker games. They remove the swearing and the blood.

Stalker Shadow of Chernobyl: http://www.moddb.com/games/stalker/addo ... -swear-mod

I know this is a dead topic, but does anyone know a mod that covers up the nudity in Dark Souls? Also, could someone test this Fallout 3 mod for me?
Any help would be appreciated.

Certainly not a dead topic (even if I tend to be one of the few contributors at times. (ha ha) There's still plenty of people who view this thread and get some benefit from it.

I'm not sure if there's a mod for Dark Souls that dresses characters up. Here's a few things I've found if you'd like to get started with modding and potentially make a fix.

Here's video where a guy does a great starter tutorial on extracting character models:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ideMuecmH8s

you can use free tools like GIMP (similar to photoshop)(you'll have to get the DDS plugin) and Blender, a 3d Modeling software. I have very little experience with Blender.

Here's another way you could also extract the textures for editing. This is link to a thread about getting the textures by what the games loads, meaning you'd have to be somewhere that the immodest character would be in game. It's like a memory dump that helps you grab the textures.

Tool they use:http://www.nexusmods.com/darksouls/mods/19/?

I can't say that I have ever played Dark Souls. I've just never had any interest in it. Best of luck with it. Perhaps this might get you a start in modding.

I could test out the fallout 3 mod for ya. It's one I own. I'll try to check it out and post my findings here. Are you looking for a no blood mod in general or specifically this one? This one seems to be made to work with a few other mods or mod packs. If you're playing without those larger mod packs you could simply use this one:
http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/ ... w%3D&pUp=1

I've used it in the past and it's worked good.

Sorry for the slow response. I forgot to check back.

Anyway, the mod I linked was made by yours truly, so I wasn't able to test it myself. I'll check out the mod you linked instead, and I plan to check out the other modding materials you linked as well. I've asked around quite a bit, and you're the only person that's actually helped me. XD
Thanks for replying.
