White Knight Chronicles.

I'm enjoying it. The story isn't entirely original, but the world makes up for it. Combine Steampunk, mythological, futuristic, and middle ages and you'll come close. But the combat is the definition of clunky and boring. It's hack and slash combines with turn based, combined with some sort recall of ye olde RPG's. Each attack requires a certain amount of action chips, and a certain amount of time to use. Which would make sense if it wasn't activated by a normal button press and didn't also require MP (magic points). That's not bad, but considering you only gain a single AC if you take a hit, or slay an enemy, it get's aggravating to use anything but the standard non-AC using attack, which does little damage.

Which is further compounded by the fact that summoning a Knight requires a minimum of 7 AC, meaning you'll sometimes just have to take a beating and hope you don't die in order to even sort of win the battle. Because while the smaller creatures can be killed in your human form, it would take upwards of half an hour per battle to kill some of the tougher giant monsters, if you didn't die first.

I think the biggest problem is that I want to charge into glorious hack and slash battle, slashing away, and I really need to treat this as a turn based RPG in which you can walk around. :P

Whoah. This is the most impressively realistic flight sim I've ever experienced. And it's incredible!

I found it at Kroger for $4. So I was like "Yay".

Then I started playing it and I was like "I just punched you in the face son!" Then he was like " *combo. Grab. Punch. Punch. Punch. Super attack. KO* "

So then I was like "...dang..."

No regerts.
I've been playing mostly LoL but I also started playing more Smite after watching the world championships and I've enjoyed it. Much more fast paced and harder to have a coordinated teamfight, but the chaos is what makes it so much fun.
