I had to check it over 3 times to make sure I was reading it right.

ccgr, DollFace and IBJammon were there. The party was a bit shorthanded but picked up a new friend - Jack (NPC) - who accompanied them to scout the Caves of Chaos to the northeast. Their first foray into one of the many caves in the cliff face resulted in an unfortunate encounter with a cranky ogre who nearly killed Jack outright (and made a snack of the bits that got left behind.) Outgunned, the party withdrew for reinforcements.

Jack had parts that got left behind? Ooooohhh.

Well, sounds like there is an ogre marked for death.

Hey guys,

I'm really sorry to do this at the last minute, but I have to cancel my GMming this evening. Life, as it so often does, is getting in the way.

Apologies.

It is, thanks... no emergency. Just a bit overwhelmed. Poor planing on my part.

I think that'll be totally doable. Arctic, the DM, is pretty great with getting people introduced and up to speed.
So you know, this is 2nd Edition. If you want to see 3.5e in play, check out our Redemption of Agronon threads.

For the next session, since it falls on Black Friday, would that be fine for everyone or will there be scheduling conflicts?

I'd love to watch both...I don't know what the difference between 2 and 3.5. So learning which I like better can't be bad.

From what I can say, 3.5 puts a little more structure while 2.0 leaves it a little more open for Role Playing.

Hoping for the 29th. If everybody is on board we'll have a session although I wouldn't be surprised if not everyone can make it. You're welcome to create a character so you can jump in along the way if you like.
