Makes sense to me, though I think it's dangerous for religious leaders to make political statements.
A church teaches the morality it teaches, and it's up to members to decide how to reflect that in their political views and whom they vote for.

Totally.
And honestly, I agree with the idea that a good Christian of any denomination has no business supporting candidates who think partial birth abortion is totally fine. That's just my opinion and I wouldn't go on a tirade against someone who did. I just feel bewildered when I see something that amounts to a Jesus fish next to a Hillary bumper sticker.

I realize that president's don't have to be Christian, if they're not I hope they have the decency to leave churches alone and let them keep their tax benefits.

Followed the link. Donald Trump is not to blame for Islamist or far-right extremism. The article has nothing to do with his presidency.

True Trump is only to blame for Trump. But pandering to the far-right and fanning the fires of hate for the previous administration has everything to do with his presidency.
