My friend told me he got drunk for the first time....he's 17. What do I do?

If you would like advice that is more specific, I believe more details would help. Such as, are you a believer? Is he a believer? What does he mean by "got drunk"? Are there other issues that make things more complicated? Does he regret it?

Encourage him to stay away from alcohol. First, he is underaged, and second, the Bible warns us against giving way to alcohol in an excessive manner. Encourage him to stop before a habit develops. Shine light on the situation and be a good example.
