That was awesome. Gory awesome with a side of actual plot.

Looked interesting but way too much sexual content for me. Same reason i didnt like true blood. except that show was just kinda stupid.

Favorite book series ever (passing even the legendary LotR), and the show is just as good. They have done such an excellent job so far, can't wait for season 2.

I love the book series and the TV show gets it 90% right. Top three best things about it:

1. Peter Dinklage as Tyrion
2. Whatshername as Arya
3. The production value and fidelity to the source material.

Top three flaws:

1. Does HBO have a 1-graphic-sex-scene-per-episode quota for their shows? I don't mind sex on TV, but in this show it really does seem like they throw it in there to get attention for the show. The book has a fair share of sex but it's at least tripled for the TV show.

2. The Danaerys and Drogo story is changed a little bit in the beginning, in a way that makes Drogo look like more of a rapist than he does in the book.

3. The actress who plays Danaerys is pretty terrible overall.

I hope Geoffrey gets it soon. He is really mean. It is rare to find a show when you can't predict what is going to happen next.

Oh man, Joffrey is such a viciously hateable character. I get unreasonably happy when Tywin or Tyrion put him down.

Not gonna lie, I feel bad for the actor. I think Bronn had it right when he said there's no cure for being a...yeah.

Also:
Spoiler:
He does die. Sadly not slowly and painfully. After what he did to Ros he deserves soooo much worse than he gets.

*sigh* why do I compulsively open spoiler tags?

Oh well, I kind of guessed it.
