The Secret of the Fortune Wookie is what I'm reading now and would recommend. They are the Star Wars Origami books. Fun to read and create the paper characters. I'm reading Harry Potter #6 now, too.
I would recommend reading the Eleventh Plague. It's sort of an adventure/love story set in the post-apocalyptic world of the United States. It's a really good book and most of the time I don't read a book unless it has a decent plot to it. If you ever get the chance, please do. It's awesome!
I read a lot, (mainly fantasy) and these are a few that I enjoyed
The Kingkiller Chronicles*
The Wheel of Time
The Stormlight Archive*
The Dresden Files**
Odd Thomas
Mistborn (the first, I haven't read the others yet)
The Lord of the Rings and any other Tolkien books
Enders Game
* Unfinished (not done being written)
**Unfinished, but worth starting now anyways
There are a ton of others that I will probably think of seconds after posting this, but these are some of my favorites.
it kinda depends on the age group, but i think a lot of people would enjoy the left behind series (the kids one) it may be long but it is really cool. for girls in grade 6 to grade 12 i think Holly's heart is a great book (there are 3 and i recommend reading them all) it teaches young women how to overcome certain challenges that most all girls would experience at that age. for me i also noticed i was more interested in using my spiritual gift, evangelism (it means preaching in places other then a church)
Hi- I have read a few [A FEW- JUST A FEW] really good books lately!
I read The Giver- its really good!
I read Waggit's Tale [it may sound childish but im 13- i liked it!]
I read Chains [by Laurie Halse Anderson] Its AMAZING, and so is the sequel Forge!
The Hobbit is a great book for all ages in my opinion. Just finished reading it, and I can honestly say it's one of the best books I've ever read, and you'd like it too if you enjoy "medieval" fantasy.
A Short History of Nearly Everything is a fantastic book for anyone who wants to improve their knowledge of the history of mankind's scientific knowledge
